The Embassy Suites was exactly what you would expect. It was clean, roomy, very nice interior and the breakfast was great. No complaints just compliments.

Wow! I can honestly say this was a great hotel experience from check in to the room to the wonderful breakfast and hospitality hour. Last weekend, we stayed here for one night. The hotel was sold out. Everyone was completely courteous and friendly. Even had chocolates and bottled water delivered to the room as part of the Hilton Honors program. The king room with a sleeper sofa was large and comfortable. Everything was clean and in top order (And I look for things too). The reception had lots of food choices that were immediately replenished and even changed so there was more variety. I am heading back to Lexington this weekend but the hotel is sold out so I will be at the Hyatt. Great value. Easy access to Interstate 75. Long breakfast hours, which worked perfectly for our family of four. Will stay here again from now on.

Overall the is nice. The rooms are a bit dated in comparison to the Marriott across the Pike. Carpet frayed in the bedroom area I stayed in. The staff is pleasant.
Although the breakfast is included in the rate, the "cooked to order" chef is a bit slow. The selection on the buffet bar is the same day after day. The eggs were watery and the crispy potatoes were definitely that (all the way through). I must admit, if the Tempur-Pedic beds at the Marriott were not so hard (which I find to be uncomfortable,) I would be willing to pay for the excellent breakfast they have over that of the Embassy Suites.
The evening dinner was good, although again, the menu didn't change, there were no daily specials.
All in all, it was an average experience.

We were traveling from Chicago to Asheville, and decided to drive as far as we could after work. We got to Lexington and I saw this Embassy Suites off the exit. It looks new; the folks at the reception desk could not have been nicer. We had a wonderful room, temperature was perfect, the bartender gave me a carton of milk to have with my candy bar, and the cooked to order breakfast omelet was on a par with any I have ever had. We both slept like babies - which we almost never do, especially on the road. I planned our return trip from Hilton Head to stay here again.
