Our family spent 2 weeks on the road "seeing America". One of our stops in route back home was a 1 1/2 day stay in Denver. Since there were 5 of us (3 adults and 2 children) we needed a suite with enough room to spread out.
After a long drive we arrived at the hotel and I was immediately impressed. The manager presented me with two of the Embassy Olympic pandas (I had called the week prior when I saw them advertised on their website and they were complimentary). You are greeted with a wonderful open air atrium with a fountain in the middle. At first I was worried because there was a lot of noice in the lobby/atrium. Apparently several girls softball teams were staying at the hotel. However, my fears were quickly dismissed when I realized you couldn't hear a thing happening in the atrium once you were inside of your room. This was especially surprising since the room open to the atruim (not closed corridors like most hotels). Once we settled in we headed downstairs to the managers reception. The free non and alcholic drinks and snacks were more than adequate. As another responder indicated you aren't downtown, but there is a mall on the other side of the highway with plenty or restaurants. However, we were too tired to go out and decided to order from the in-house restaurant. I was really surprised and please how inexpensive the kids' meal ($2.50 for a grilled cheese combo and most others topping out at $3.00) and adult meals were. After eating in our room which was more than spacious I took the girls down to the pool. The space was adequate and somewhat crowded. However, there was enough seating so I sat back and relaxed as the girls had fun. The one complaint about the pool area is that it can get humid. I am sure this is to keep the swimmers comfortable, but it did get a little uncomfortable after about an hour.
The next morning we were greated to a cooked to order breakfast. I thought with the hotel being so crowded that it would be impossible to find a spot to eat. I was wrong. There was plently of room and the cooked to order omelettes were great. The breakfast was one of the best variety we had on our trip.
All in all we loved our stay at the Embassy suite. It provided the perfect place for us to relax and enjoy our stop in Denver.

A very nice place. The living room was very roomy, and the bedroom with the 2 double beds was a large room, although the bathroom could have been made bigger. The evening reception was a nice set-up, serving drinks and snacks, then the morning breakfast was very nice with a cooked to order breakfast offered. There isn't anything to do within walking distance of the motel, but it is an easy drive to downtown.

I travel to Denver often for business. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times. They are always accommodating and friendly. The staff has remained very constant. I am a Hilton Honors member, and they always have a couple bottles of chilled water waiting for me in my fridge when I arrive.
The breakfast is great -- they offer everthing from low fat yogurt and fruit (when I want to be good!) to made-to order omelettes and bacon (for when I dont!) They have soda machine that you can access all day long ... I always bring a large cup and refill it while I am there.
Manager reception is always nice -- they run out of snacks later in the event and dont refill it. But its free so beggars cant be choosy.
I havent been there with my kids yet because I am always there for work. But I see lots of families using the pool.
