I read the reviews of the hotels and motels in Albuquerque and booked one night at the Embassy Suites for a special occasion visit. It was great! The hotel was beautiful and easy to find. The concierge on duty told us about a special exhibit at the art museum and gave us easy to follow directions. The hotel was about 2.5 miles from the art museum and Old Town. I would love to save up some more money and go back. My friend and I had a great time.

My mom and I had a weekend of shopping and a balloon ride in NM this past weekend. We stayed at the Emabassy suites and we felt very safe and welcomed. All the staff was very pleasant. The morning breakfast was good and had a large assortment. The managers reception was also very nice and relaxing. I would recommend this hotel. The hotel as a whole was very clean. (we had one large spot on the carpet of our room where someone spilled kool-aid or something of the sort. We did not use the spa, but it looked like it had a large variety of services. Also, the location of the hotel was nice, because it was very close to everything.

This is a typical Embassy Suites. Free full breakfast. Comforters on the beds (no plasticy polyester bedspreads here). Real thermostats in the rooms. Staff are friendly and personable.
Internet service (both wired and wireless) is provided by iBahn and is NOT included in the room rate.
Full menu room service 'til 11pm (I was amazed by how fast the service was), and limited menu available later.
Opportunities for improvement: plushier beds, better desk chairs (while the chair is adjustable, it doesn't go up high enough for the desks, and it doesn't lock forward), granola at breakfast, and free
net.
While a full-service hotel, this is not a five-star property. On the other hand, it's a good example of what one should expect from Embassy Suites.

A group of five couples traveled to Albuquerque on a golf vacation-5 golfers and spouses. Our golf tour director recommended the Embassy Suites. Our stay was Sep 29-Oct 5. The accommodations were first class, employees were extremely friendly and helpful. The added benefit of the full breakfast and the manager's cocktail party was a big plus. The hotel is close to the airport (about 5 miles) and convenient to both Interstates.
