The hotel has a beautiful location, excellent structures and service.
Being on the eastern side of the Bosphur is very pleasant, at the end of the day, to leave the noise of the old town and to sail back (by the hotel's boat).
The management is extremly friendly and welcoming.

Lovely ....but not 100%

It was our first time in Istanbul. And we were pleasantly suprised.
Much more sophisticated than expected.
The hotel was good... very boutique where things look good but are not every time practical.
We booked a family room ( duplex) and we spent all our time telling our 3 year old daughter not to use the stairs... leathal for a child.
The room servicce was very good and quick.
BUT do not try the Kodron restaurant.. very stuffy ( unless you like having 5 waiters watching you eat at the end of your table!).
The staff barely understood English and they serve very spicy food to our child. And she loves arabic food!!!
AND the prices are way too expensive .... we ate at the Four seasons an excellent meal at half the price. Bad experience all the way that left a big hole in our pocket.
The hotel staff was pleasant. Just right.
As for going to Istanbul, do use the public boat ( 5-10 min from the hotel) with a much more flexible timetable ( at the boat only leaved once in the morning and come back once in the afternoon).
All in all , good hotel with fantastic view. Not top level quality, but good.

It was everything we expected and more!
The room was absolutely gorgeous, extremely tasteful and comfortable. The view was breathtaking! We found ourselves just staring at the giant ships passing through the Bosphorus during the day or gazing at the lighted bridge at night. Two French doors were leading to a little garden, with the room located just 20m from the waterfront.
The staff were extremely attentive and helpful, though the boat service is too scarce. We recommend using the public ferry, located just twenty minutes walk from the hotel with a more reasonable schedule.
We didn't try the hotel restaurant as the area has so many great places to eat. However, don't miss the hammam experience!
It was one of the best romantic getaways we ever had!

On the asian side of Turkey. Perfect if you have time to spend crossing the bosphorous river in the morning to the european side about 20 min. One of the best hotel experiences I had. Not very good english speaking crew.
