Out of all my travels through Europe this hotel was one of my favorite. they have so many attributes to this place that made our stay amazing. the rooms are great, contemporary and comfortable. the hotel is in an IDEAL location and couldn't have been any better. they don't cut corners and it shows.
the staff was very friendly and their free coffee shop around the corner is awesome.
i could go on and on about this place, but they really exceeded our expectations. i'll definately be back. i was just really impressed

I loved the retro charm, but not everyone will.

Retro mid 20th century funky charm in a fabulous location. I loved it but not everybody will. My first impression was shock. It takes a while to realize that the airy but minimalist room configuration works very well. Beds great! Make up lighting, not so hot. Breakfast is outstanding and served generously until 11 for late nite revelers.
I like bigger bathrooms, but I'd stay there again. The staff is obliging, friendly and knowledgeable

I can chime in with everyone else. Great boutique hotel, perfect location, the best ever breakfast, not only in variety but also in presentation. Normally I prefer a hotel without breakfast so I can find my own, but this one should not be missed. Only for that I would want to stay longer. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Can't say enough good things about it...besides just go book it if you plan to stay in Vienna. Will definitely return and recommend to friends.

This was one of our favorite hotels ever. Fabulous design, perfect central location, loved the restaurant, unbelievable breakfast (included in the price-- well worth at least $25-30 per person)--truly one of the best hotels in Vienna. We have been to several very high end boutique hotels in Europe, New Zealand, Canada and across the US-- this is in the top.
GO TO THE RESTAURANT-- THE FOOD IS AMAZING-- we went 3 times:)

Stayed at the Hollmann from 12/27 - 01/01. I booked the largest room that they had and that it was. The room was very large and the concept very clever (closet and bathrrom hidden). However, the room already had signs of aging. The main wall is in desperate need of a paint job (there were scuff marks all along the wall). The bathroom, well, although large the shower was not very convenient. There is no door or curtain and the floor would get completely soaked.
Now on to the good. The service is very good. The breakfast is AWESOME!!! and the location is good. Would I reccomend the Hollmann? Well depends on the person. If you get a really good rate go for it. If you can spend a little more money, stay at Le Meridien.....or the Sacher (while in Vienna, you must have a SACHER TORTE!!!)
