Our family of 6 (2 grandparents, 2 adults, 2 children) stayed here in early July for 5 nights. We had 2 rooms. One was a "club" room for 2, and the second room was a "Suite" for 4, which had a separate bedroom and a livingroom with a pull out sofa. The suite had less streat noise. I believe that all the suites face the rear courtyard which is quiter.
The hotel and rooms were very clean and nicely renovated. The bathrooms were very nice. There is a small elevator to bring up the suitcases when checking in or checking out. Otherwise we used the stairs. As is common to most Paris hotels in this category, the walls are thin. We expected this and came prepared with earplugs. Without earplugs, we were able to hear people talking in other rooms and doors opening and closing in the hallways late into the night. With earplugs it was no problem at all. We definitely recommend bringing earplugs.
The front desk staff were all very helpful and pleasant. They all spoke excellent english, and did not seem to mind speaking english instead of french. "Lily" was especially nice to us, and made us feel very welcome. She gave us good information regarding which restaurants in the area were good with children, and the location of grocery stores. She provided us with a kettle, cups, plates, and some utensils, so we were able to make instant coffee and tea in the rooms, and prepare snacks for the kids. They allowed us to use the fridge to hold our own drinks and food, rather than using it as a minibar. This made the hotel much more functional for us. We were able to bring in breakfast and save a lot of money. Instead we spent money on eating out for dinner.
The location of the hotel was very good. It was a very close walk to Arc de Triomphe and the Charles de Gaulle Etoile Metro Station (Wagram exit). It was also a very short walk to the Air France shuttle stop on Ave Carnot, which took us to CDG Airport at the end of our stay. You can take this shuttle irrespective of what airline you are flying with.
The streets in the area seem pretty safe, although it is important to use common sense. We did see some homeless people on Ave de Wagram, as well as youth hanging out into the night. Pickpockets are present in most tourist areas, so consider using a money belt and avoid taking out your wallet on streets and metro.
Overall, we were quite pleased with this hotel for our vacation in Paris.
Enjoy your trip.

We stayed at this hotel in May of 2008 for 3 nights. It is an excellent location to metro, RER, and Air France bus stop from and to the airport. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Good quality and value in rooms and very clean. We would definitely recommended this hotel and would stay here on a future visit to Paris.

I recently stayed here with my family in one of their suites. Loved it! Great location- steps from the Arc de Triumph and metro, great service, nice size rooms, plus the air conditioned worked. 'Kais 'the night porter reconfirmed my airport shuttle and recommended some great restuarants. Our room was ready at 10 am. The service was amazing. 4 star service in a 3 star property.

This is a very good hotel -- for Paris. A visitor to Paris must accept certain things for a three-star hotel such as this: the room will be small, the walls will be thin, and the guest will feel as if he is only one of many visitors moving through the hotel day by day. But this little hotel offers the extras one would want: a convenient location two streets up from the Arc de Triomphe, an ample breakfast, and -- most importantly -- a staff who seem to care for the wellbeing of the guest. The front desk is cheerful and helpful, and even the cleaning staff help with luggage and special requests. And -- there is air conditioning! The only real complaint one could have is -- and it's not the hotel's fault -- that the street -- a side street that is not all that busy --is noisy: there seem to be a lot of young "undesirables" hanging around the clubs and restaurants on the street. (However, the hotel's windows close tightly, and 80% of the noise is shut out.)

After reading all the review of this hotel on Trip Advisor we decided to book. There were 9 of us in all. I was expecing more that we got. The hotel staff was pleasant and tried to be helpful. My room was on the 6th floor, and the bed was against the wall. My husband kept hitting his head getting in and out of bed. The room was also very hot. I ask if we could move, and the hotel did move us to the 1st floor. What a mistake. The last night we were there, a disco next door was playing music so loud I felt like I was sleeping in the middle of the club. Needless to say, I did not sleep at all. Having to get up and leave very early in the morning to catch a train to Bordeaux left me totally exhausted. They should not use that room!! It was a nightmare!! I left my camera in the room. I tried to contact the hotel to see if they found it, but have heard nothing back. I would call this a mediocre hotel at the most. I would not go back.
