This is an above average hotel in a really good part of town and you can usually get rooms at great rates.
The lobby is basic small front counter with freindly and efficient staff. There is a small continetal breafast area just across the way with a few tables, chairs, coffee, etc.
The main appeals to this hotel however are the rooms... very good size. We had a kitchenette with a full fridge, stove with prep area and cabinets. The bathroom was large, the tub appeard to be oversized and their ws plenty of counter space for both me and the wife in there at the same time. The king size bud was comfy, nothing special. Room did feature a full size closet and their were two chairs with the table.
Another big plus is the location. This hotels is smack in between Germantown and Memphis... you have easy access to Interstate 240 (about 1 mile) and their are lots of great restaurants from walking distance to a 2 minute drive. Also 3-4 pretty big shopping centers with great stores. Plus the area is very safe.
Overall I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It is a much better room for the price than most rooms in the area

We just stayed at the Homestead (Popular Ave) in Memphis during Elvis 25th anniversary. Very nice moderate motel in a good area (out around Germantown). Nice little kitchen area. Nearly new. No pool.
