I had a wonderful stay
Guest name: NewYorkJohnny, New York
I was pleasantly surprised after reading some of these reviews to find a very clean updated room with all appliances working, a friendly informed staff and a spotless laundry room.
I don't understand what people expect for $58.00 which is what I paid on Hotels.com.
I never saw a bug, never lacked for hot water, and the a.c. was freezing cold when it needed to be.
The staff spoke English and if the reviewer below had read the hotel policy and the signs all over the property including one in your BATHROOM they would have known that towels are brought to the front desk for changing out.
I would definitely stay here again if I had to book a budget hotel.
THANKFUL it was ONLY one night!!

I stayed at this hotel the night before a major exam. I am beyond excited that my stay was only for ONE night! Check-in was rather easy.... I should have known better. The room that I was given initially, the 2 beds were not made up, not the right bed type/size, the refridgerator was filled with things that I didn't put in it, and (this is the best part) the bathroom was filthy. Due to the hotel's proximity to Emory University, it can only be assumed that the previous guest was under care at Emory's medical facility. The bathroom had blood, and bandages everywhere!
I immediately went back to the front desk, and got a different room. I was told that he was going to contact the manager to let him know that the rooms weren't cleaned. (Truthfully, I didn't read too much into that comment.) When my boyfriend & I were going through the room, we realized that things that are essential to a long-term stay (at any extended stay hotel) were missing. When we realized that there was only 1 coffee cup, I called the front desk, and was told that he didn't have any more!
At a little after 8am someone from room cleaning knocked on the door. I've never seen/heard of that. At that point, he told them that we'd be checking out in a couple of hours, and they can come back at that time.
I would NEVER recommend this hotel to family & friends, or even my worst enemy!!!!! I guess the old saying is true, "You get what you pay for."

I had booked 2 nights at this hotel but left after 1 because the conditions were so bad. The room was very unclean -- food particles on the counter, hair on the sink and in the tub. There was a pest control box under the ruffle of the bed. The smoke detector was hanging from the wall. There were stains on the blankets. There were splatters of stuff on the walls. The bathroom was actually so nasty, I went to a job interview without taking a shower because I didn't want to risk catching something in there.
I understand that it is is a 'budget hotel' but the conditions ridiculous. On another booking website, this place had all 5 ratings (obviously someone paid for them) so I would like to report them so that others would have access to that information before booking there.

I was terrified of staying at this hotel after reading some of the reviews on here (I booked thru hotwire which doesn't tell you the name of the hotel until after you pay). However, I was pleasantly surprised! It was nothing fancy, but our room was clean, the linens (including the comforter!) looked/smelled clean as well. Our room had a full size fridge, little coffeemaker (no coffee though), and stovetop. I'd stay here again if i got the same rate ($35/night).. just a few complaints: the a/c would get quite noisy, we had to stick a sock in the vent so it wouldn't rattle so loud, and the shower curtain looked like it needed to be replaced. FYI, unless you stay for 7 nights or more there is NO housekeeping service. Also, if you need more towels (we didn't), you have to exchange the dirty ones at the front desk.

If you are contemplating doing away with yourself (and I hope you're not!), this place will put you over the edge. I lasted, literally, 10 minutes, which was the time it took my daughter to retrieve me (she lives nearby, which is why I booked this abomination of a hotel). The no smoking room smelled strongly of something (mold? mildew? decomposition?), the carpet was a petri dish gone amok, and the giant palmetto bugs/water bugs/dinner-plates-with-feet added that certain je ne sais quoi to the decor.
If you need fresh towels, you must first deliver your soiled ones to the front desk, at which time these precious linens will allegedly be replaced. (As if anyone would use those towels on their own person.) Same protocol re: toilet paper, which could make for an interesting sprint across the parking lot.
I was assigned a ground floor, dead(!) end room in the back of the farthest building, presumably to provide easy access to vagrants, peeping toms and burglars, while eliminating the possilbe presence of pesky witnesses.
If you're in Atlanta for business and your boss says you have to stay here, quit your job. If you're coming for personal reasons and this is the only place you can afford, stay home and save your money. No occasion, be it wedding, high school reunion or Civil War renactment can justify staying in this house of horrors.
Even Alfred Hitchcock would have run out screaming.
