We stayed 4 nights while in town visiting family. We really wanted a suite with a bedroom door that closed which is not always easy to find. The room was just okay. It smelled in the room and the room needed to be updated a bit. We also had a hard time getting the temperature how we wanted it. For the price, it wasn't bad. But the next time we are in town, we will be staying somewhere else.

We stayed 4 nights in May 2006 and had to move to another room twice before we could get away from strong smells of a new carpet and smokers. In my reservation I requested to be as far away from smoking as possible but the request was ignored. Our 3rd room was in building 1 away from smokers . It also had an elevator to the 2nd floor for those who might need to use one.

We stayed two nights here while in town for a wedding. It was fairly clean, but we did notice some bugs which freaked my wife out. The location in pretty good with plenty of restaurants nearby. I certainly would not recommend it for a vacation, but for an overnight stay while traveling, it wasn't bad for the price.

I have stayed at this hotel each year for the past 5+ years. At first, the convenience, the location, and the friendly staff made this place ideal. Unfortunatly, this past time the room smelled bad and was dirty, especially in the bathroom. My room was very noisy as it was next to the laundry area and beneath the steps. Next year, however, I will be staying elsewhere.
