I had booked a one night stay at this hotel and, upon my arrival at 7:30am, the front desk clerk was kind enough to allow me to check-in without having to wait for their 3:00pm standard check-in time or having to pay for an extra day/night. The room was clean, well-equipped (full kitchenette), and comfortable, including a better-than-average choice of channels on the TV (most hotels only have 9-10 channels and this property must've had at least 30!). Another front desk clerk I met was kind enough to share her experience about what it was like to live in Fairbanks. All in all, a great staff at a great hotel.

Hubby and I spent 3 nights here in early September. The bed was awesome, slept well. The staff helped us each time we asked. We really wanted to see the Northern Lights and one of the staff checked a website for us each day and told us the probability. We saw them our last night in Fairbanks after he told us a four in ten chance. Awesome! Continental breakfast is ok, not the best, but adequate. Pool was too cool (temperature wise), but hot tub was just right. Yes, I would definitely stay here again.

Staff is terrible. They gave us the wrong rooms and told us they did not have any of the rooms we booked. Then after I complained, they gave us one of the rooms correct. We found dirty underwear in the closet and cigarette butts in a non smoking room. They said they did have any roll aways even though we checked in a 3:00 p.m. In one room we had to sleep three in a bed. The pool area was not clean.

I had a terrible experiance with the staff.
I needed assistence & called the desk 5 x without answer. I walked up to the front & the lady was on the computer not answering the phone. She then told me to find the housekeeping services myself....I just came out of surgery I am not going to track down their staff when its their job to do so.
Then I was left without a key while my family went out. I had to go out for a min & didnt want to have to walk all the way around after my surgery cause i didnt have a key for the door, so i propped it open with a can. The bald staff man was rude & told me I was breaking security, etc & that i could be evicted. I was going to go right back in & close the door behind me. Why would I compromise my own security as I am staying here.
The change of linen wkly is not adequte enough, house keeping did not come to our rm once & we stayed 3 days. Especially when pets are allowed or when you have children.
Upon realizing pets are allowed I also realized that was what was excercerbating my childs asthma.
I would not reccomend this place if you dont like being treated like an inconvenience. Or if you have allergies or asthma
