It's Okay

Friendly staff Kelli and Krista were great! The room was clean but the carpet was dirty and our socks looked terrible after walking on it. I think there was a dog or a cat in the room before we got there because under the sofa sleeper there were dog bones and cat food. The room smelled I had to air it out for a couple of hours. It wasn't a terrible smell but a strong air fressner smell that just wouldn't go away. The evening girl did try to come down with some spary but it was the same stuff that smelled in the room so it's their air fressner that smells to strong. Makes me wonder why they had to spray it on so strong in our room.
They don't have cable only satellite with 39 channels none of which were very good.
Overall the stay was okay. This place would be great if they updated. I feel they really need to shampoo the carpets especially when a dog or cat has been in the room before you. So new carpets, new paint, and a better selection of channels and this place would be pretty good.

The Hotel Smelled,
The Lobby Smelled,
but it smelled different from the Hallway that smelled,
But smelled different from the Elevator that smelled,
But smelled different from the room that smelled that smelled the worst,
When I got back home everything smelled like that room, so gross,
The smell apparently comes from the A/C Units,
All the rooms come with a can of air freshener that does nothing but confirm that the hotel staff is aware that the rooms smell,
I booked on Priceline for $35 a night, but was informed that the rooms only come with queen beds,
If I wanted 2 double bed it would be a $20 NIGHT Upgrade fee,
$10 a night more for a pull out sofa,
We elected for the pull out that was uncomfortable, for my travel partner to sleep on.
Fitness equipment was broken,Hotel was run down and creepy,

I stay in Wichita several weeks a year for my budget-conscious small business, so we have groups of three or four who enjoy extended-stay hotels there.
We were disappointed by StudioPlus. The beds were very uncomfortable for a couple, barely tolerable for one. And the extreme lengths that the hotel has gone to save on wages were really evident. We don't need much service, we got practically none.
We stayed twice during one week in August 2007, the second time the hotel overbooked and bumped us to another hotel down the road. The other hotel was acutally nicer, but we had to split up our group to use the rooms, which was a hassle for us.
In all - you can do much better in Wichita, esp. using Priceline.
