Hotel was clean and staff were very helpful and courteous. This is a long term stay facility so if you want breakfast or room service, this isn't the place for you. If you want a clean place to stay that is roomy with a bedroom, separate bathroom, living area w/ couch and chair, and full kitchen with utensils etc...then this is the place for you. The cleaning staff came in weekly and cleaned, made the bed, dusted, refreshed towels. The place was a bit dusty. I assumed that was from renovation dust, like in the couch. The air units, one in each room, living and bedroom, were nice too. Separate controls for heat and a/c or just the fan. The windows in both rooms open as well so you can get fresh air in your room. The laundry facilty was fine. Never had to wait for a washer/dryer. There is fresh coffee always in the lobby. This hotel is located right next to a lot of restaraunts, and the mall. Just down the road, off Morganton road, is everything else you could want; Target; Grocery stores, drugstores etc. I was very satisfied with my stay. The ad for the way the rooms are isn't accurate. I've posted pictures of the room I was in (King bed). There was a tv in each room and a dvd player. Hotel was also quiet. Slept like a rock.

I stayed at The Deluxe Extended Inn on September 29, 2006. I was very impressed with the renovations as well as the service. The room was extremely clean, and very delicately decorated in the most beautiful green that I had ever seen. The entire room was spotless. The mattress was so soft that I did not want to leave. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I actually felt as though I stayed at a 5 star resort. I could not have asked for better service nor better quality of care than what I received. I cannot wait to make this hotel my choice each and every time I am in the city of Fayetteville. Bravo to the interior decorator for such warm and inviting colors. The staff was the best!!!!!!!!! I intend to make room 328 my haven when visiting my friend.

Simply stated, this is the most spartan property I have spent a night in since I was a guest at an Intourist hotel in the former Soviet Union. The entire property has an institutional look and feel and, while the staff is friendly, "nothing is too good for the customer so that is what they get--nothing." There is nothing in the bathroom except a sink bolted to the wall, some towels, and a bar of soap. No shampoo, no hair dryer, no cups, and no countertop. The desk lamp had a burned out bulb which the desk clerk was not equipped to deal with. The kitchenette had exactly one (dirty) glass, two sets of flatware, one plate, and one pan. There was a coffee maker and one packet of coffee, but no creamer or sugar. Don't even ask about breakfast in the morning--there is nothing but a single coffee maker in the lobby. Presumably, this saves people from having to choose between regular or decaf. The maintenance (I won't call it re-modeling) had an amateur handy-man look with dripped wall paint on the furniture and hand-spackled repairs to holes in the walls that were more often than not unpainted. The only reason I didn't leave when I checked in was because I was only there for one night and it was already late. If this place was a POW camp, the Red Cross would be trying to shut it down.
