Booked this hotel in view of its central location - 5-10 minutes walk from the Opera and the RoissyBus stop for CDG airport. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Ths staff were all very pleasant and courteous. The room was actually fairly spacious compared to many city hotel rooms and the ensuite was clean and modern. The breakfast was a simple buffet breakfast and was more than satisfactory. The breakfast room in the basement floor was small but we had no problem finding a table, although I suspect this could at times be a problem if too many guests turned up at once. Breakfast time however was spread over three and a half hours which is longer than many other hotels and allowed more guest flexibility. The hotel was in a quiet street and we felt perfectly safe returning to our hotel after dark. All in all we were glad we chose the Cordelia and we would definitely stay here again if visiting Paris in future.

Cordelia was a nice hotel. Small but nicely decorated. My room wasn't so big but it was big enough. Bed was very comfortable. It was very clean. Breakfast was great. It was quite a good choice of food.
There was really nothing that could impress me so much, but I didn't want to be impressed by a hotel. The location was wonderful. Close to the Opera, shopping zone and Champes Eliseyes, Louvre and Concorde.
I would definitely come back!
Maybe the price was too high, but I think it was the location that made it expensive.
In short...great hotel to stay if you want to visit Paris.

Stayed here only one night on way out of Paris. Hotel lobby was under construction, so it should be even nicer later. Hotel is centrally located, next to good shopping and restaurants. Room was nice and clean, staff was very friendly.

Stayed four nights. Rooms were small, which I understand is quite common for Paris hotels. Hotel was very clean; staff very friendly and helpful. In fact service was excellent. Air conditioning was easy to adjust to suit personal preference, a real bonus from our experience of hotels.
When we stayed refurbishment of the foyer area was still in progress but this did not pose any difficulties.
I disagree with previous reviewer’s comments about breakfast. Breakfast is buffet style (not simply continental) so there was fruit juice, cereals, fruits, yoghurts as well as toast, pastries, rolls, etc. Plenty to eat. If you did want eggs then you paid extra, but this was not needed with all that was on offer.
Location is excellent with a metro and train station nearby as well as Opera Garnier, which is the hub for many of the bus routes.
If you enjoy walking, as we do, then hotel is very handy to Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, etc. We went as far as Notre Dame and then on to Catacombs on foot and used the bus to return to hotel.
Plenty of excellent restaurants in vicinity as well any where else we went. Nice little bar across road, but as menu is limited, would not recommend it if you want to try the French cuisine. Chez Papa at 29, rue de l'Arcade, 75008, Paris (230 metres from hotel) is well worth visiting for their French cuisine.
All in all a brilliant experience and would most definitely stay at Hotel Cordelia again.

I have stayed at the Cordelia a couple of times. It's a good, decent hotel in an old building - a fe rooms on each floor round the lift. There's no air-conditioning (at least not in the last room I stayed in) which might be a problem in summer, but otherwise it has everything you would expect of the rooms in a standard, good quality city hotel (including safe and minibar). Staff are very polite, but breakfast is very poor by the standards of other hotels - minimal choice. At present there is scaffolding on the whole facade (but no noise or disruption) because a they are renovating the reception and, I think, providing extra facilities. The hotel is quite dear, but its location is excellent - a stone's throw from the Madeleine and Champs-Elysées and therefore easy to get everywhere else. There are a number of decent restaurants and many shops in the immediate vicinity.
