"Spacious, comfortable suite - absolutely incredible Times Sq view!"

Entering the Doubletree is like entering a small, private boutique hotel. With the secure entry lobby and the 3rd floor check in lobby, the crowds, noise and congestion of Times sq are quickly forgotton.
For those who want the ULTIMATE Times Square view, book the southwest corner suite number 01 - on any of the highest floors (flrs 20-45). These are classified as the "King Premium View 01 Suite" or one of the "01 Conference Suites".
We stayed in Conference Suite 3801 with an incredible 180 degree view overlooking Times Sq - from one end to the other including a direct view of the New Year's Eve ball drop.
Note that the majority of suites at the DoubleTree are along the 47th street (longer) side of the hotel and do not directly overlook Times Sq.
The spacious corner living room and the adjacent dining/conf room have a continuous wall of windows overlooking Broadway & 7th Aves (all of Times Sq), the W and Marriott Marquis Hotels and the Hudson river (with great sunsets). The King bedroom also has a wall of windows with the same great view.
We've stayed at the Marriott Marquis, the W and other Times Sq hotels and none can compare. Our suite was 2-3 times the size of other's rooms, was well furnished and was remarkably quiet.
Would not hesitate to stay here again.
Hope this helps.

A friend of mine and I stayed here for 4 nights and were totally delighted with the room and the service at this hotel. We arrived before 10am and were immediately checked in. Beds were fabulous to say the least. Security was outstanding. Huge plus having a refrigerator and microwave to keep food items on hand. We loved having the extra room that the suite provided. I would not hesitate staying here again. My only complaint is the fact that you are charged for using the business center. It cost me $10-$15 to check email and to print my boarding passes.

Excellent location for those visiting NYC, however there were service issues. Agent at check in desk took a long time to as she put it- find us a great room- it was there standard room, with no special features ( view, corner etc). We were told it would be a 15 minute wait to take our bags to our room- the lobby was completley overwhelmed with carts of luggaget. It looked like baggage claim at JFK, not a 500/ night hotel! We carried ours up. Security was extremley lax- we were only asked for our room keys once. Bathroom tile was cracked, and the furnishings looked a bit outdated. When checking out, we asked for help, told they would be up in 5 minutes, after waiting 20, we carried our own bags (again). Improvements in staff service would greatly improve the quality of stay.

Clean and Compact
Nice and clean suite with good housekeeping service. Great location at the top of times square. Small and dangerous valet/taxi pull-up space. Small lobby area. Small hallways and suite. Small restaurant on 5th floor (windowless I think). Parking attendant cleaned out my car change.
