Hotel piccolo, vecchio e soprattutto sporco situato in una delle zone piu vivaci di Parigi (Pigalle). La zona è ricca di sexyshop e peep show quindi sconsigliata a chi viaggi con bambini. L'hotel è pessimo: le stanze sono piccole e sporche (moquette e tende non vengono pulite da mesi) il bagno idem e non cambiano gli asciugamani. Sala colazioni piccola e non adatta ad accogliere tutti gli ospiti dell'hotel. Non lo consiglio a nessuno e sicuramente non ci tornerò.

Trascorso con un amico 4 notti in questo hotel in mezzo ai sexy shops. Dopo un momento di smarimento siamo rimasti contenti di questo piccolo Hotel, economico e abbastanza centrale, ma raggiungibilissimo con la Metro. La camera e il bagno erano piuttosto piccolini e non pulitissimi, ma lenzuola e asciugamani erano puliti! La colazione situata in un minuscolo stanzino era ottima: cereali, succo, brioches di vario tipo, caffè, yogurt, pane, fette biscottate, burro, marmellata, formaggio e salumi. Personale amichevole e ottima accoglienza. La reception piccola, ma piena di informazioni turistiche. Lasciando le finestre chiuse il rumore esterno (pubblico sexy shop e disco) non è troppo fastidioso

Me and my wife stayed in this hotel for a week in late October, 2006. It was our first visit to Paris, so our emotions were different, too naive. The dbl. room was very tiny, I would say for one Hobbit or Gnome, not for two normal size human beings. The dresser was also small, so we had to put our case right on the floor. I would say it was pretty quiet at night, though very near of this place there are some number of sex-shops, topless bars, etc. The area was safe at day-time, but when the dark crawled on, my feelings of the place were negative, unsafe. Speaking of breakfast - we were surprised by the food, and I would not agree with the people who wrote smth. non-positive. The Afro lady who served it was very very friendly (after we thanked her French). Another Afro lady at the reception behaved herself as if we had owed her some money or smth. like that. We were glad that we stayed in this hotel, but we would never (never say never again) come there for another stay.

The hotel we had booked told us our room had been flooded, and had therefore arranged for us to stay at the Arcantis. If I had read some of the hotel reviews beforehand I would have been anxious, but we had no cause to be concerned. Yes, the hotel is surrounded by sex shops and sex bars but the area seemed very quiet while we were there and I didn't feel unsafe at any time. On the plus side, the hotel is very close to a Metro station with lines into the centre. Our room was very small but perfectly OK for our short stay as the only time we spent in the room was to sleep! The bedroom and bathroom were clean and there was plenty of hot water for the bath. The bedroom walls offer no soundproofing and we could hear every word from the TV in the next room, and other guests in the corridor, but fortunately this didn't cause us a problem. Breakfast is taken in a very small dining room which is far too cramped if a number of guests want breakfast at the same time. Breakfast (included in the price) consisted of fresh rolls and pastries, and coffee. The staff were pleasant and allowed us to leave our bags at the hotel after check-out. So overall, the hotel met our expectations.
