My wife and I spent a weekend at the Doubletree Club Boise. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was spacious, clean, and nicely appointed with modern furniture. The location was also excellent (within walking distance of downtown Boise, and a stone's throw from the Boise Riverbelt biking/ hiking trail. Best of all, the hotel was pet-friendly. Considering we paid $80/night plus a $10 pet fee and tax, this hotel was one of the best values we've seen in a while. We'll be back.

Hotel is ok.....there are cleaner better places in town with similar rates. We have stayed here twice over the last couple of years...and I have no idea why I came back a second time.
We were on second floor right next to street lamp over looking back of hotel. Couldn't find blackout drapes the first night so suffered all light with the bright lamp. They were very accommodating the next day to move us.
Staff uneducated on property features.
Found bed and pillows pretty uncomfortable. Not a great location unless you have a car

This was the most comfortable hotel bed I think I have ever slept in. We were on a very tight budget and I had never stayed at a doubletree because they are normally expensive. However, this hotel was only $65 for the night which we could afford. The man at the front desk was pleasant and we received two warm cookies after check-in. After making it to our room, we were both extremely pleased by how nice the room was. We had a queen room and it also included a couch and a coffee table. The room was clean as was the bathroom. However the highlight of this bed was the amazingly soft pillowtop mattress which is more comfortable than my bed at home.
There is also a Mexican restuarant right next door which is convenient. The only negative about this hotel was the only entrance was the front door which I found odd. I would definitely stay here again if I could get it for a low rate.

My fiance, boxer, and I had a wonderful stay at the Doubletree in Boise. The front desk was very nice to my Boxer dog and were very helpful with any questions we had about the city and site seeing. The hotel is located right across the street for the Greenway (?) (the path the runs along the river).
We really enjoyed our room also. We had a corner room that was spacious and the king size bed was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Boise. BTW...the cookies were delicious!!! :)

Yes, a member of priceline makes booking a cheap stay at this hotel a snap.
The only MISS of this hotel is that there is NO INDOOR POOL -- which is awesome for the hot summer but no fun when there are sub zero temperatures.
There is an indoor hot-tub, however, that almost makes up for that fact! This hotel is in a pseudo-suburban-industrial district which makes it perfect for the business traveler in those sectors.
There is an attached restaurant and bar, which I did not attend.
They give you free cookies when you register and you can get your business card laminated and made into a toe-tag (ok - not really - a luggage tag).
The rooms are quite clean and must have been re-done. There is new granite countertops in the rooms that I have stayed in (2-3 times in the last year or so). The beds are SUPERB - very soft but in a firm way; they must be memory foam or something similar.
Enjoy!
