On the plus side, the location couldn't be better. When we checked in we got a room with beautiful windows overlooking Rue de Rivoli And, the staff was very friendly. However, the first night something (flea? mosquito?) bit me on the ankles about 10 times while I was sleeping. The front desk said they couldn't change out the linens because it was Sunday. They were accommodating in allowing us to change rooms, but the new room was six flights straight up a very narrow, uneven staircase. In that room the only windows were attic-type that looked up to the sky so it was pretty claustrophobic. I was so relieved when we moved on to our next destination. Skip this one - you can do better! For a few euros more we found a significantly better hotel about 2 blocks away.

Es ist ein kleines 2-Stern Hotel, das zentral liegt und direkt an der Metrolinie 1 Station "St. Paul". Man ist mitten im historischen Viertel Le Marais, das sehr sehenswert ist, die Rue Rivoli ist toll zum Shoppen und zufuß erreicht man auch schnell Notre Dame und das Quartier Latin. Wir hatten ein winziges Doppelzimmer mit einem französischen Bett, das Bad war auch sehr sehr eng. Aber alles war sauber und funktionierte einwandfrei. Wir hatten ein typisch französisches Fenster und sahen auf einen lebhaften Platz an der Rue Rivoli - es ist immer was los, Straßenverkehr oder Menschen, nichts für Ruhesuchende. Das Hotel ist generell sehr eng gebaut, ein supersteiler Stiegenaufgang (keine großen, schweren Koffer bringen!) führt zu den Zimmern. Man kann im Hotel für 6 EUR frühstücken, aber wir wählten eines der vielen, vielen Cafes der Umgebung. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Insgesamt ein netter Aufenthalt.

Loved our stay at this hotel. Great location. We came in on the Eurostar and took the metro to the hotel. Really easy to find. Easy check -in . In fact the room was ready early for us so were dropped off luggage and went sight seeing right away. The stairs were insane! We counted and had eight four steps to our room every day. It sure forces you to be organized and make sure you have everything when you leave the room. It was a clean room and the breakfast was great value. We were there for five nights and had the breakfast offered at the hotel for three mornings. The hotel is in the heart of a great neighborhood and was safe any time of the day. It was easy to walk to any of the sight seeing locations. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to our friends.

J’ai adoré le séjour que nous avons passé dans cet hôtel. Il était super bien situé. Nous sommes arrivés en Eurostar et nous avons pris le métro jusqu’à l’hôtel. Formalités d’arrivée rapides. En fait, notre chambre était prête très tôt, nous avons donc laissé nos bagages et nous sommes partis faire du tourisme immédiatement. Ces escaliers nous rendaient fous ! Nous avons compté et nous devions monter 84 marches jusqu’à notre chambre chaque jour. Ça vous oblige à vous organiser et à être sûr que vous n’oubliez rien dans la chambre. Elle était propre et le petit déjeuner était d’un très bon rapport qualité/prix. Nous sommes restés là 5 nuits et on nous a offert le petit déjeuner 3 fois. L’hôtel est en plein cœur de Paris et le quartier était sûr quelle que soit l’heure. On pouvait tout visiter à pied. C’était vraiment super et nous le recommandons à tous nos amis.

Ho letto le recensioni più recenti mentre organizzo un prossimo viaggio, e devo dire la mia dato che ho alloggiato in quest'albergo un paio d'anni fa. L'ubicazione è straordinaria, vicino alla metropolitana, ma così vicino a tanti dei posti che volevo visitare che molti giorni non ho neanche preso la metropolitana. Questo è un buon alloggio per chi è disposto a salire qualche rampa di scale secolari, per chi preferisce visitare le attrazioni turistiche piuttosto che soffermarsi in camera, per chi preferisce risparmiare i propri euro per fare spese, mangiare, bere... Non è un albergo per coppie in viaggio di nozze: è un grado superiore ad un ostello, ma con prezzi ugualmente convenienti. La mia camera era molto tranquilla, dava su un cortile con gerani sui balconi dei vicini, e aveva il bagno più minuscolo di tutti. C'era anche una televisione minuscola, ed è stato divertente perché ho potuto vedere dei sitcom americani doppiati in tedesco e controllare le previsioni del tempo della BBC.
