Just stayed that the semiramis for the first time, and have to say this is a fantastic hotel. Slight hickup on arrival of being given the right room, but wass handled really well, and an apology given, so top marks for the customer service. The rooms 'make you happy' they are very different and a real chane from the drab rooms you get at other hotels. My room had a balcony overlooking the pool, known as a superior room, but some of the rooms without balconys, standard rooms are a little longer, but there is plenty of space in the room i had. There are some great touches at this hotel, free wifi all over the property, and free breakfast for all rooms. Oh and you may see the odd celebrity in the hotel bar :-) . The hotel is in a rich suburb of athens and there are really good restaurants and clubs, not to mention some serious expensive shopping . Can fault the hotel, excellent service, rooms and ambience.

As for the hotel, it was kind of space agey. I like modern but this was all over the place. Nobody stays around the pool area and the area kifissia is 45 mins away from the Acropolis by train which is not air-conditioned by the way. Way too far and annoying really - I would not recommend staying here. Stay in town where all the action is

Our second time. A fantastic improvement to service this stay. Overall an excellent stay. This time we tried a poolside cabana, bungelow, well worth the extra for convenience and facility of private garden. Staff helpful and attentive. Pool as ususal gorgeous. Excellent standard of cleanliness. Its definately not cheap here but it has to be one of the best in Athens.
