My girlfriend booked the Morgan Hotel as a special anniversary treat, we had gone to their bar frequently and liked it , its dimly lit with really good coctails and good house music in the background.The location of the hotel is great, right in the heart of temple bar ,so all bars and restaurants just minutes walk away. the room was pretty small as you may expect from a city centre hotel, the carpet in the room was pretty dirty, could do with a good clean,also the sheets had some stains on them and a lot of cigarette buts just outside the window on the balcony.My girlfriend noticed that there was some cleaning equipment left outside our door from the time we arrived (3 pm) until checkout the next day,this kind of thing makes the place look untidy. I would recommend you stay in their sister hotel called the Becon which is located in Sandyford Industrial estate(about 15-20 mins from city centre on the tram(luas),much newer and the rooms are bigger and they have a nice bar and an amazing restaurant called the My Thai,room rates are much cheaper also.

Upon arrival at the hotel, I was pleased with it's chic and funky appeal. Definitely a hotel for people that want the hotel for it's location and nightclub downstairs. The club was great! Very modern and eclectic. the staff all over the hotel was excellent. The bathroom in my room had some leaking coming from the shower. The maids were working close to the room and storing their carts and supplies just down the hall. It would have been nice to have a little piece and quiet. The temple bar area is very loud in general so the addition of the room service cart was a disappointment. I would certainly recommend this hotel for the young and trendy.

Never had been to Dublin Ireland before and this hotel is in the middle of an area known as Temple Bar Area - where all the pubs and music is located. I stayed in a one bedroom suite on the 4th floor and loved it. The staff was the best. The bar was very nice with fantastic music. You walked right outside and you had many many places to go see. The environment is very much like the "W hotels" I have stayed at in America. Very "happening" with a lot going on. What did I like best about it?
