My partner and I decided to treat ourselves to a 5 star hotel break in Vienna for 3 nights however we were very disappointed with this hotel.
When we arrived outside the hotel the general appearance of it set alarm bells ringing as to the quality of this hotel so we weren't exactly too positive on what to expect from the interior.
The reception staff were very friendly and efficient and could not be faulted.
The biggest disappointment was the hotel room, it's hard to describe how small it actually was (so in measurements 15ft x 11ft incl the ensuite). The ensuite had no bath and there was no extra surprises in the room besides 2 wilted apples on a miniature sized coffee table together with a box of matches, not to mention the 2 coarse bathrobes and one pair of slippers in the wardrobe. The room however was spotlessly clean.
On the first night we decided to have dinner in the hotel's restaurant, standard food at 5 star prices would be how i'd describe it . We did not return to eat there again. Breakfast was also only okay, bread rolls weren't fresh an the waiting service was non existent so we weren't served coffee or cooked breakfast ( Continental breakfast was self service) .
Overall I would not recommend this hotel to those who want the 5 star treatment. We had paid well above the odds for our hotel break, at best it should only be rated as a 4 star.

Stayed here for just two night in March of this year. The design of the hotel is nice, nice location in Vienna as well. The room was a bit small, and prices on everything (The mini bar) were extremely high but that is all the same in Vienna. Anyway would most likely stay here again..

For a christmas weekend break, you can't beat Vienna. We stayed mid December when the christmas markets were in full swing. The Levante Parliament is very close to the Rathaus (town hall) and the christmas markets at the Rathauspark are definitely the best in Vienna, although our experience during Friday daytime was much more pleasant than on the weekend when the market was so busy you could hardly move, with no chance of getting a mug of Gluhwein! During the day we walked all around central Vienna from the hotel, although we got taxis at dinner time as it was very cold and I was not up for walking in my heels! The metro station is close if you want to head out to the palace for a visit. And the museum quarter is also close by on foot.
The hotel is a good standard for a design hotel though our room (superior) was a little small. The other strange thing was no curtain on the bathroom window. This wasn't an issue from a privacy perspective as the building opposite was a disused factory with frosted windows. But it did mean the bathroom was a little chilly in the morning. Breakfast was pretty good, although both times our hot food order was mixed up and we had to chase it. However getting a cooked breakfast is a nice change from most European hotels. Overall the Levante Parliament is decent value for money if you want good location, and nice quality modern design hotel. Also - be prepared for the 'two single beds pushed together equals a double'!
See my review of Restaurant Steirereck for a wonderful if pricey dining option in Vienna, and be sure to get to a concert as well.

I chose to stay in Levante Hotel during a short break. My opinion after the two days is a little bit confused. Amazing reception, really
warm and fast check in, but room was not what I have expected. Small, really noisy because of the street, if you can choose the internal rooms, looking the terrace. Breakfast was really good and stylish, I had also dinner at hotel's restaurant and I can say that it was good enough. But again, I didn't enjoy as much as I wanted my stay there cause of the noise during the night. Really not nice to being in a noisy room after a long day around city.

We had a wonderful experience, everybody is helpful, the room and food excellent, a bid far away from the city center, but if you like to walk is nice, excellent public transportation. I booked this hotel thru Luxurylink.com, the package was an excellent value.
