Great Hotel
Guest name: Robins44, Tarzana, CA
Unfortnately, we only stayed here one night. Our rooms were located in the historic building. The decor reminded me of a hip boutique hotel (i.e. the W Hotels). The breakfast buffet was nice, especailly the coffee. The rooms were generous size, especially by European standards.
The only thing I had to complain about is that it can be a little noisy because the rooms are right along the street. We were there when the Spain played Russia in the semi-finals for the European soccer tournament. Of course, Spain won and there was a lot of shouting and cars honking there horns for several hours.
Overall, great hotel and location and I would definitly stay here again.

We arrived at the hotel (from Seville) late on a Monday afternoon and from the moment we entered were treated to excellent service. The staff were fantastic booking taxis, restaurants, taking bags to the rooms - everything you'd expect from a 5* hotel.
Rather than head into town we decided to eat at the hotel restaurant (Senzone) and I have to say it was superb. I had the suckling pig and my girlfriend had the duck, both were first class. They weren't accompanied by a mountain of pasta or rice, but we just ordered a dessert and were again treated to excellence. It's is just a shame that the restaurant was so quiet, it's well worth a visit and like the hotel, the staff are highly attentive.
The hotel room was clean, spacious and the huge bed was fantastic. We stayed in the 'palace' part of the hotel (albeit for a few extra euros) and even though the room was on the front of the hotel we weren't woken by noise from the street below.
Overall this is a great hotel (about a 20/25 minute walk from the Alhambra ticket offices) which I would happily recommend to friends.

The ultimate irony - one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever been in, with some of the best linen, yet so much shouting and screaming on the street below, from midnight to 6.15am, that I slept scarcely a wink. It's an OK hotel, but only that. I expected a nice period building, but my room was in a new wing that had limited storage, samey trendy decoration and too many knobs and dials to get familiar with (it took ages to figure out the rainforest shower and shower hose in the wet room, though the toiletries are of a very high standard). The leather, studded table and uncomforable chair were hopeless for business, and it took us 10 minutes to get reception to send a barman to the small bar, astonishing in an alleged five-star property. As for the restaurant, well, don't expect to leave it feeling full. Our main course was pork and scallions. Only pork and scallions. No supplementary vegetables, potatoes, rice or pasta were offered. Overall, an experience that should have been unique was simply sterile and depressingly familiar, and the noise was the final straw. I certainly don't recommend paying the rates advertised if you're going to be awoken several times a night by inconsiderate yobs in the street and don't understand why the local police cannot do something about such anti-social behaviour in a residential district

check in sympa mais fort lent.
