Stayed for 2 nights. From the time we walked in to the time we left the service was excellent. All staff was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was a great start to each day. The evening reception was a great way to unwind with a few drinks. The kids loved the free pop and popcorn throughout the day. Rooms were clean. Ask for a room with a view of the pool. Will always look for a Drury Inn where available and definitely stay here again.

We stayed four nights in June. Positives were easy/free parking in the building, a good location, right next to the conference center, and adequate breakfast. Negatives were a tiny pool that wasn't worth bothering with, a super small work out facility with no weight machine, happy hour served was served on the 5th floor breakfast area instead of a bar, and strange security guards that told us there was a curfew when we came back late in the evening. (I'm not sure where they thought we were going besides our room). Free popcorn and soda were nice, but weren't always made available as advertised--we had to call down to the front desk to remind them. Overall, it was okay for the price.

The front desk staff at this hotel are worthy of 5 stars! However, even they are not worth staying here. Simply put, the hotel is filthy -- from the elevators to the rooms. There is no time during the day that you get on an elevator and it's not nasty. My colleagues and I who stayed in the hotel for a conference all agreed that we wouldn't walk barefoot in the rooms. The marble bathroom floor was spotted with dirt. The chair in the room stained and the carpet had red all over it (red wine or blood). Drury properties are usually pretty good -- but skip this one completely. (Currently, this property has a contract with the armed services too so service people stay here on their way out of the country. Although they were very very well behaved, they completely monopolized the fitness center, pool and hottub. Another reason to avoid.)

went to the drury for the boat show Feb 8th, for 2 nights. It was okay, great location (its right there by the convention center). The breakfast was okay, nothing great. Rooms, okay -nothing great either (little old). Beds okay, but the Hilton's are much better! Water pressure in the shower was weird. Honestly, I wouldn't have stayed at the Drury, but thats where the rest of our people were staying. They have a happy hour, so all of us boat people got together and visited. Also, a bunch of us brought our own coolers down and lots of dips and goodies. Went to the Big Bang (Bar) Friday night, it was fun... Sat. night we went to Jakes Steakhouse, it was very good. Both were just a short walk away.

Stayed overnight @ hotel in August. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was great and they gave us three different types of pillows to choose from. The free QuickStart breakfast is worth what we paid for the room along with the free cocktail hour and the free popcorn and beverages. The free breakfast included eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, coffee, hot/cold cereal, etc. Also the staff was excellent. Check-in/out was quick and simiple. Also the hotel offered FREE parking. Alot of attractions are free but they get you with the parking fees. All other hotels charge at least $10 for parking. All of these extras really made my low budget vacation great.
