For the decent rates this hotel charges, it was exactly what I expected. Our room was small but clean and made up every day. The staff were very friendly and helpful - the only problem we encountered was when the night receptionist wouldn't call us a taxi to take us to the station when we checked out very early in the morning. We have lots of theories on why this was but of all the staff his english was the worst so it may just be that he didn't understand properly. It's a bit of a hike to the nearest metro station, particularly if you're dragging heavy luggage. From either Plaisance or Alesia I felt most comfortable walking down Rue D'Alesia to Rue Didot rather than taking the backstreets at night or early in the morning. Rather than pay the additional 8 euro for breakfast we chose to get ours on the road - there's a great bakery/patisserie on the corner of Rue Ledion and Rue Didot plus a supermarket nearby and a great restaurant called 14 Juilliet two blocks up on Rue Didot.

Nice cosy hotel, no bothers at all, friendy staff and very helpful we found it extremly hard to find. Alecia is nearest metro stop

La chambre 39 est un concentré de saleté, taches, poussière, moisissure,revêtement mural en lambeaux, salle de bain certainement hors sécurité (à vérifier). Je n'omets pas le mobilier: tabouret en plastique en guise de chevet, télé sur l'armoire (avec l'emplacement précédent apparent sur le mur), ampoules manquantes, poignées cassées, et patère brinqueballante Strictement aucun rapport avec les photos du site où ns avions réservé. Du vol manifeste, le propriétaire a reconnu avoir une bonne dizaine de chambre à refaire mais pas le temps, il est tjrs complet... Complet par des gens comme nous qui réservons sur le net et avons fait confiance aux photos. la prochaine fois ns consulterons Trip advisor avant!!

Por Dios! Esto no llega ni a ser un hostal de mala muerte! Al reservar en venere, vimos las fotos, habia estado renovado hacia poco, y nos parecio muy correcto, al llegar el hall estaba muy bien, el señor de recepcion tiene una deficiencia fisica y/o mental, lo cual no es ningun problema si es educado y amable, pero no lo fue. Al abrir la puerta de la habitacion nos quedamos de piedra! las paredes estaban negras y verdes por la humedad, la moqueta asquerosa y cuando caminabas crujia todo el suelo, la habitacion era de 2x3 y daba a un mini patio pestilento, ah! cuidado al asomarte porque la barandilla esta a punto de caer. El baño viejo y minusculo, con toallas de mano para la ducha! Cuando baje a pedir que nos cambiasen la habitacion, se hizo el "tonto" diciendo que el hotel estaba completo. Y claro, ve y encuentra un hotel a las 9 de la noche....Pues nada, que nos toco dormir en aquel tugurio! Por cierto, si eres alergico a los acaros como yo, lo vas a pasar mal por la noche!!
