A Dud of a Hotel

This has to be the worst hotel in Leicester. The check in manager spoke poor English and was very unhelpful, the room was small and noisy, I had to struggle with self-service breakfast in the morning for nothing worked, I could hear the guest in the next room go to the toilet, the hotel itself was dirty and on top of a car park (I kid not!), the 'view' from the hotel was through a filthy window and fellow guests who all seemed to be builders left early at 6am waking me up. If I ever return to Leicester I will definitely book elsewhere. A dud of a hotel.

Stayed here for a week when my son started university.
After checking in we had to drag our bags up a stair to reach to the level where the rooms are situated. The hotel smells moldy.
The hospitality tray was set for 2 cups of tea per day but the water kettle was too disgusting to use anyway.
Each time we came back to the hotel we had to get our keycard reactivated. Never had a "I'm sorry".
The breakfast was extremely poor. The servers seemed to put out just enough for half the guests. There was a rush to the buffet table each time a couple of new yoghurts were put out.
I wrote a letter of complaint to Days Inn but never heard back from them.
Needless to say, this is not where we have been staying while visiting our son in Leicester.

Hotel at top of 6 floor multi-storey car park - dark approach made heart sink & their make shift wooden door didn't help.
Restaurant not available & bar looked like had escaped from the twilight zone. Lift to street level. Our twin room needed the ceiling painting properly, and despite booking a non-smoking room, we had smoke entering the room through a locked access door!
The continental breakfast included croissants that tasted like they were left overs from earlier in the week.
Overall, would NOT stay again - best pay the ?2.50 & stay Travel Inn!

Stayed here for 1 night. Arrived very late. The hotel is situated at the top of a multi storey car park. Entrance a bit grim. Reception area looked ok. On walking to our room the carpets were threadbare and needed updating. The room was very small. Bed situated near the window. Could not get any sleep as the radiator was turned on fully and would not turn off due to the heater control being broken. Had to open the window to try to cool down. In the morning 6am was woken by next room occupants. Walls are very very thin. The toilet seat was broken and the shower cubicle was dirty. I will not stop here again. Very disapointed with this hotel.
