This place is a dirty dump.... The area is seedy....with many druggies in the area.... Its a 30 minute walk to the Acropolis/Plaka area.... This hotel is advertised as new.... I don't think so.... air conditioning is advertised....but ours didn't work.... we had no lights in the bathroom that worked.... staff speaks very limited English and not helpful.... they are very indifferent.... no maps or information on the area available at the desk... Towels and sheets were threadbare and had holes.... you had to make your own bed!.... (they provided a sheet laid at the foot of the bed!!) I would NEVER stay here again.... and had contemplated leaving during our stay....

Das Hotel ist sauber und für den Preis ganz OK. Der Staff beim Frühstück ist nicht zu gebrauchen "no speak english" Und jedesmal für eine Übersetzung ins griechische den Manager rufen nervt auf dauer. Frühstück ist in der Küche vorbereitet - kein Büffet

Joker Hotel, Athen Zimmer: Recht schlicht eingerichtet (fehlender Duschvorhang, wenig Ablagemöglichkeit im Bad), aber sauber. Das Hotel verbreitet insgesamt den Charm einer Jugendherberge mit entsprechend bis in die Nacht lärmenden Jugendgruppen. Nicht zu empfehlen für einen mehrttägigen Athenaufenthalt als Alleinreisender.. In der Umgebung des Hotels viele Immigranten, fraglich auch Drogenhandel, Obdachlose. Glockengeläut einer benachbarten Kirche von 7 bis 23 Uhr, halbstündlich. Sonst Zimmer zum Hinterhof akzeptabel ruhig. Frühstück ausreichend, wenig abwechslungsreich. Personal freundlich.

This hotel may be cheap and reasonablly central but it's not worth any money. I've 20-30 bites from sleeping in one of their rooms. The shower was a waste of time too. The hotel couldn't even provide me with a map of Athens to get me going. Stay somewhere more expensive and save yourself some pain.

the place is so noisy as it is located near the square front of a church,so expect people roaming around just doing nothing that make you feel unsafe mostly immigrants,the rooms are clean and quite as its not facing the street,toilets are spacious but had hard time with showers cold/hot temperature,airconditioning is excellent same as the cabinets for quadruple room,breakfast is not adequate there is no varities of food to offer,mosquitoes biten me and my colleague at night,receptions staffs spoke very little english (language barrier)lifts are alright,location to the nearest metro is commendable with shopping mall nearby,the hotel is sorrounded by other hotels,and pubs-no tourist information brochures on the reception desk-despite this setbacks we enjoyed our 4 days holiday in Greece-its a lovely country people are warm to tourist-one suggestion please!-kindly issue a receipt to tourist when checking out--I paid my hotel bill for 4 days and I was not issued a receipt-the hotel rate was affordable----- verdict i can recommend to tourist with a budgeted holidays
