I will be staying here for all my river trips from now on. I'm getting to old to tent camp and am tired of staying in our friends motor home. It was really nice to be given a standard king room that was spotless, updated and very cozy, bed had 4 very full fluffy pillows!! I enjoyed a continental breakfast that is included. The pool / jacuzzi and BBQ area are clean & inviting. There is plenting of parking for RV's & boats, a restaurant steps away and a major grocery store a few blocks away. Pets are welcome. If you are just passing thru or boating on the Colorado river (which is just a 5 minute drive to a luanch ramp) I can't think of a better option for the value. I am very selective and spend hours on this website alone making my desions when I travel and this one deffinetly paid off.

There were a number of problems we encountered during our recent stay at the Days Inn in Blythe, CA. When we arrived in our room: The security latch was only attached to the door trim and the trim was dangling from the wall. Water was leaking from the bathroom windowsill onto the floor creating a puddle in front of the toilet. The room smelled like smoke - event though we requested a non-smoking room. We tried to call the front desk to report these problems, but the room phone didn't work. We were given another room promptly, but it also smelled like smoke - we were told we had a non-smoking room. And there was mildew growing around the window in the bathroom. Other, more minor, problems - the hotel shampoo was so watered down it didn't lather or get my hair clean - the shampoo I bought at the local Albertson's did. The hotel hair dryer seemed very underpowered - it was noisy, but didn't produce much air - warm or otherwise.

Very pleasant Days Inn in bleak Blythe
Guest name: poinciana, Santa Monica, California
Days Inns are very hit and miss, as anyone who spends a lot of time in hotel rooms knows. This Days Inn is amongst the best I've stayed in (my favorite Days Inn was in Dublin, Ireland, oddly enough)...very clean and spacious rooms, comfortable beds with plenty of pillows, a helpful staff, and certainly at the top of any list for Blythe, which is not exactly a hopping tourist destination.
The towels are of substandard cloth, but other than that, I have no complaints about the Days Inn in Blythe!

We have stayed at a different hotel for the last 10 years in Blythe for our river trips. That hotel went gold plated on their prices so we branched out and found the Days Inn. We had a fantastic stay. Good beds, comfortable room; bathroom was fine.....no complaints whatsoever. It's perfect for the weekend getaway!
