I booked this hotel blind from Hotwire. The area wasn't exactly the best, but the hotel looked decent from the road & it was close to several restaurants (most being fast food). This is where the positives end. The lobby had a run-down & trashy feel to it, & the desk staff was marginal. There was a box @ the front desk where they were giving away cell phone chargers that guests had left behind. I thought that was a great idea...even if I were unfortunate enough to leave mine behind (b/c they can't do anything w/them & by the time you pay to have it shipped, you can just get a new one). The hallways had a odor to them & so did my room. The room itself was also in marginal condition & the internet access wasn't working. I was leary of sleeping in the bed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, for any reason.
*DISCLAIMER* I stayed @ this Days Inn in August 2007, but haven't written a review until now b/c I didn't feel like taking the time. However, I've since found reviews very valuable in my travels & wanted to return the favor to fellow travellers.

After driving for 9 hours we were definitley ready to check into our room. The first thing I noticed was a hair in the bathroom towel (not the hair from your head..YUCK!) My husband and I were getting ready for bed, I pulled down the comforter and found a big bloody stain. I realize they change the sheets (I hope) and not the comforters, but come on now. I am in no way a hotel expert, we don't stay in them very often so I guess I kind of figured it would be cleaner than it was. Suffice to say, I wont be going there again. I did leave the comforter stain side up when we left in the hopes someone would notice it.

We stayed here as a group. The halls smelled of urine. The bedspreads were stained. One room had bed bugs...we did get that room for no charge. This was the worst hotel experience ever. Two families refused to stay there and left for more appealing accomodations.

I don't think they have housecleaning. They never showed up. We brought out the couch bed and there was a big red stain in the middle of it. Then we have a 14 month old daughter who walks around and puts things in her mouth. Well there were pills on the floor under the desk. Another thing is the people are rude and the food is horrible.

Yuck! The hotel smelled of urine and the pool was closed because the water was "toxic." The chair in the room was broken. The doors that adjoined the rooms were wallpapered over. Staff was unfriendly and impatient. Unfortunately I prepaid and felt I had no choice but to stay the one night. Next time we visit Baltimore I will definitely spend the extra cash to stay in a higher end hotel.
My husband even told me that we will never stay in another Days Inn ever!
