We ended up staying at this property because it was the only one in the area that allowed dogs. I thought it was overpriced for what it was. The room cost us $140 a night plus a pet fee and it was a basic motel room. The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere. The room was small and had one of those lovely air conditioning units that always make the room too cold or too hot. But everything worked and it was clean and quiet. So I guess I can't complain too much. There was a pretty meagre continental breakfast. The pool looked nice but we didn't use it. All in all, I wouldn't say "stay away" but I also wouldn't want to spend a week there.

Stayed at hotel on business for 2 weeks. Hotel is old and dirty. Matter stuck to the ceiling. No bathroom fan meant the room was damp and stale. "Do not disturb' sign was ignored. Had documents shipped to hotel which were round tripped due to front desk lack of attention to detail. If you're a business traveller avoid this property. Hotel is south of town, isolated with no nearby services.

We stayed at the Days Inn in Easton for a wedding in Cambridge. The Days Inn is in a great location especially if you dont want to pay resort prices of St. Michaels. The staff was extremely welcoming upon arrival. We got there at 12pm and they had two rooms cleaned so they were more than willing to offer one to us.
However, the rooms themselves, while fine as far as amenities were a little disappointing. We were in a smoking room and there was not only the smell of cigarettes in the air, but also the bathroom had three dead bugs in the corner and footprints on the bathroom floor. If there is one way to show that the bathroom hadnt been cleaned, its big boot prints on the linoleum. Other than that, the room was fine, it was quiet, and the morning check out staff was just as helpful and friendly as the one when I checked in.

Don't bother with Days Inn

Myself and 19 other friends and family have been going to Easton Maryland for the past 11 years for a Crab Feast. We have stayed at the Days Inn Easton on route 50 and 322 bypass 7018 ocean gateway is the exact address. Any we have stayed at this above Days Inn for 10 of those 11 years. The only year we didn't was last year and that was because we were told a wedding party booked the entire hotel. So we were able to come back this year. And let me tell you this will be the last year. The owner Steve Walterhoefer (at least he called himself the owner) I later found out he wasn't. But anyway he made us feel like we were walking on egg shells all weekend long. He came out to the pool on our 1st day (we stayed for the weekend) not to long after we checked in to find out why we were down in his neck of the woods. As soon as we mentioned the words crab feast he went bolistic on us. He said 2 years ago he had some trouble with people who stayed at his Days Inn and had to call the cops and have them thrown out. We stayed there 2 years ago and don't ever remember seeing any cops not to say he didn't have trouble with anyone(not us). We don't know and haven't heard anything through the grape vine. I do know if he did have trouble it wasn't with anyone in my group. He labeled us with those people if indeed he was telling the truth. He not only raised his voice at us, he treated us like children (we all average 35years of age), he spied through the blinds out of his office he told us "I don't care about your lousy 10 rooms I have 70 others)...etc. We wrote letters to the Days Inn corporation about him asking for an apology. The main office for Days Inn has yet to do anything for us. The fowarded some of the letters to him and his wife reply to some of us and said everything happened last year and also blamed us for stuff some under aged kids didn't that weren't even with us this year. Speaking of those under age kids they told a couple of the people the stay there a lot just to party. So he alows under age drinking. I will stop babbling now I just wanted to let everyone know this person Steve Walterhoefer doesn't know how to run a hotel and I would advise everyone to stay at another location in the Easton Maryland area. There are plenty to choose from.
