We came back recently for vacation around fourth of July. Stayed in this hotel as the cheapest in the area, as we were visiting the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore. We checked in very late on the 4th after watching firework in a different city. Receptionist making a comment that he could sell my room for a more expensive rate since many other travellers checking the hotel that night. (well, that's the whole idea that I put reservation on my credit card, that I can check in whenever I want). Since it was very late, having a nice shower with massaging capability is a nice perk for me. The rest of the room is just ok. We stayed in the second floor. Note that there is no elevator, as it is an 'older' hotel, quoted comment from the staff. Also we noticed that the side door security lock is disabled (taped so it's never locked). Other than that we don't have any other problem. No noise problem.

We stayed at the Cadillac Days Inn and had a wonderful stay. The room was great, the pool was clean and warm. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

The room walls are paper thin! Had the heat fan going at night and could still hear the man snoring in the next room, thru the entire night. NO SLEEP!!!!!!! When we checked out we told the receptionist and she replied, "I have worked here for fourteen years and hear the same complaint from everyone who stays here." You would think the owners would look into the problem and upgrade deaing to the walls. The continential breakfast was nothing special compared to other hotels. At $100.00 per night make your breakfast worth it. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a quite night of sleep.
