The service at the Days Inn Green Bay was great. My girlfriend and I requested an early checkin due to a wedding that we were driving up from Chicago for, and they helped us out without any problems. The staff were all courteous and great to deal with. When we arrived we shared a elevator ride with the head of housekeeping at the hotel. She introduced herself and told us to tell the desk to ask for her specifically if we had an issues with our room.
The hotel rooms were not the best, but they were clean. You can ask nothing else from a discount chain. If you are looking for a cheap hotel with great cutomer service and OK rooms - this is the stop for you in Green Bay.

if you are looking for a low rate, this is the place to stay. i wasn't very comfortable, but the customer service was good. when we checked in, it seemed nice and different from some places i have stayed, there was a man playing the guitar in the dining area, which was really relaxing. when we got up to the room, it was really big, the tv was far away from the bed. we also noticed that the bed was really really hard. the walls were very soundproof, so if you are looking for a quiet rest...this is the place to be. the view from the windows isn't the greatest, there is a river that goes near it, but don't be fooled by the traffic bridge and construction going on nearby, they are working on building a new children's museum. one good thing about the hotel was that it was within walking distance to some good restaraunts. the worst thing was the bed--it was the most uncomfortable hotel bed i've ever slept in!

I was just looking for a place to sleep for the night as I was traveling through. My expectations weren't high, but I was satisfied with the stay. After reading all the poor reviews, it is apparent these people expected and/or were in need of more accomodations than me. If you are looking to just rest yourself for a quick night, the price is right. If you need more, you may want to reconsider.

We stayed here during a Packers game weekend. Were not expecting much as DI is a budget chain. They advertise free high speed wireless service, however it was not working the 3 days we were there. Front desk told us we'd have to call the cable company ourselves if we wanted it fixed!! We tried, but the company was highly confused why the hotel was not trying to solve the problem and they couldn't help us since we didn't have account numbers and such. It turned out the wireless was not set up properly downstairs at the hotel, but it was still never fixed.
We also called for more towels and were told that we'd have to come get them ourselves because there was only ONE person working at night and he couldn't leave the front desk. Either he was being lazy and lied about that, or if it was true that is completely dangerous to have only one employee at work when there were probably 300 or so guests at the hotel that night. I made a complaint with the DI corporate, they said they forwarded my complaint on to the local manager but surprise, I never heard anything back.
I don't expect much from a DI, but general safety should never be balked at. I expect there to be more than one person on staff overnight. I also do not expect employees to tell me that I have to call around to get internet fixed when I'm in a state that I don't live in and a guest at THEIR hotel.
The room was fine for a cheap budget hotel, the bathroom was dreary but appeared clean. The bed was horrible to sleep on. One small elevator took forever to wait on at times.

I stayed here for work for the week. I had a king suite room, which has been remodeled and is very nice. The room had a king size bed, couch and chair, tv, table and chairs, microwave and refridgerator. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was a little small with only a shower, but that was ok for me. I didn't use it, but the pool and whirlpool looked nice. The cleaning staff left microwave popcorn, a bottle of water, and a granola bar for no charge. For the low cost I paid, this was a great value.
