This hotel was so bad we finally got up and continued to drive because I was afraid to go to sleep!!! There was about a four inch gap between the bottom of the door and the floor. There was a lot of traffic in the parking lot, mainly truck drivers all night. The room was very dirty and musty. The shower head was about level with my shoulder (I am 5'7") so I had to do squats just to shower. Do your self a favor and spend a little extra to stay somewhere you can actually sleep!

This location is truly a dump! We reserved a non-smoking room, however, it reeked of stale and fresh smoke. All furnishings were in very poor condition; missing light bulbs, broken furniture, cracked walls, chipped sink and tub, the commode was loose at the base, and the towel rack literally fell to the floor. Definitely a place to avoid!

I just finished a review about the Days Inn in Gettysburg, Pa. In it. I noted that Days Inns run to mediocre, some better than that and some worse. This one, I'd say, is low mediocre, but not as bad as some have made it out to be;. The owners are in the process of renovating the rooms, but with a wierd sense of what renovation entails. For example, our room had a new clean carpet (good), newly painted walls and ceiling (good), and what appeared to be a new countertop and shower (along with the floor in the bathroom) but, inexplicably, had oid and pitted bathroom fixtures, Why someone would reinstall old fixtures on a new sink and tub is beyond me, but maybe there's a reason.
Also, I suppose the owners are smart to begin with the rooms, since that's where the guests spend the night, but a littlle attention tto the parking lot and exterior corridors wouldn't hurt. They are really ratty. The free breakfast was nothing to write home about, but did include the now seemingly ubiquitous waffle machine and it offered raisin bran, which I prefer to the fruit loop/sugar bomb choice I got at another Days Inn.
To sum up, it's better than camping out and sooner oir later might be a nice place, but it's not yet and it may take a while befrore it is.

The day started off good, got up around 7am, went out until 3pm and came back. I noticed room service had been there while I was gone. So I took a shower, then while waiting on my friends to come and goto the pool, I sat on the bed and straightened my wallet, I always like having my money in order. While out earlier I had a $10 bill in my pocket and I remember putting it in my wallet at that time and it was the only one I had. So my friends knocked on my door, I left my wallet(since room service has been there already) by the TV and took my room card key to the pool. After about 10 minutes, I was getting hot and wanted something to drink, so I started to go back to my room and guess what? My room door was open and the cleaning cart was outside. I knew then I was just had, as I approached the cleaning woman was walking out and said I need to go get more toilet paper for your room. I went in and got my wallet and opened it up, alot of my money in the middle was gone. My $10 and bunch of my $20's gone. I immediately went to the office and told the owner I got robbed. After about an hour he finally asked the girl and she said she had seen it but never touched it. He said it was her 5th day on the job and he never checked her out. I have never heard of room service coming twice to a room. I understand I am stupid about leaving the wallet, temptation is always there when money is involved, but the owner should have done something for me, he did nothing. So I checked out and left. I had to cancel all my cards in my wallet, and luckly she left me a little money to get home on. Never again and will never forget.

We stayed here for one night. It was the longest night ever. The room was not clean. Our room faced the highway and all night I heard the big trucks. I put my "Do Not Disturb" sign on my doorknob while I went to breakfast. When I came back there was an employee in my room. He was trying to make excuses but I could not understand his English. What if I was taking a shower? He did not seem to be cleaning but it still does not matter. It was not check out time and I had the Do Not Disturb sign on my door. I spoke with the front desk and they did not care. The front desk tried to make excuses for him. The only positive thing for this place, they do have a computer in the lobby so you can check email or etc. I WILL NEVER stay here again.
