The photo is not revealing of the actual hotel. The rooms are in a back corridor in a NASTY area. After checking in, we noticed the sham. The front desk/lobby is in a seperate location practicly across the street! Anyways, the room was underimpressive, although cared for except for the rampant mold in the bathroom. But what made us leave was the LOUD fight in the street outside our door at 1 AM that got no attention from the staff even after we called twice. Of course, the walls were so paper thin that we were actually heard talking to the staff by one of the psychos that was fighting, he then proceeded to bang on our door and threaten us. We almost called the police but descided to throw our bags in the car and run!
At the lobby we told them about the situation and were told the guard on duty didnt hear any fighting. I asked to speak with the guard, who came and said "oh, they seemed pretty rowdy but it wasnt a fight". Needless to say, we checked out then and there at 2 AM and left. Horrid!

We knew we'd just be staying for one night, getting in late and leaving early, so we settled for 'cheap and decent', and the hotel pretty much met our expectations.
As the previous reviewer noted, the rooms are in a separate building from the desk, but NOT 'across the street,' just across the parking lot. It's not the most attractive area, but no worse than many other commercial strips.
The beds were a bit on the soft side, and the tv small for those accustomed to 42 inch plasma screens, but other than that everything was fine. No mold in the bathroom, the walls were sufficiently thick to meet our needs, and no fights in the parking lot. Breakfast was skimpy -- maybe they want to encourage you to visit the Waffle House that shares a building with the desk. The staff was very pleasant.
If you want a cheapish (nothing in Maryland is 'cheap!) bed for the night, the Days Inn is fine. If you want something more upscale, you'll want to pay for something more upscale.

This is not the Hampton Inn Frederick but the price isn't either. the rooms are clean and well taken care of. The staff smiled-really and welcomed me-really! they were very helpful in providing directions to a number of local resturants very near by. Yes- I would stay here again-without a doubt:)

The hotel was perfect for the purpose of our stay which was to have access to Harpers Ferry, Cunningham Falls State Park and enjoying the town of Frederick. There is a pool, which we did not use since we were out most of the time, but it is clean and safe..hotel has a monitor which observes. Staff was very helpful and pleasant.

My husband and I stayed here the Friday night before Memorial Day. The room was clean, but the sink faucet handle was old and a little gross. The beds were comfortable and soft. Unfortunately, there were some loud guests also staying that night, and my husband had a hard time getting to sleep because of them. We found a discount rate of $65 for a non-smoking room with two double beds, so it was an adequate room for a good price.
