Though the room and bath are basic, my one-night stay at this hotel was very pleasant. It is clean, well kept and I found it fairly quiet inside, even though it was 90% booked (no hallway noise, loud TVs, screaming babies, etc).
The front desk was extraordinarily helpful, both the night staff who helped me with the WiFi internet (FREE!) and the morning staff who called a taxi. They were all very friendly.
There is a shopping mall not more than a few hundred yards from the motel, which made it easy to grab a quick bite and pick up a pair of shorts at Macy's.
We traveled to Nantucket Island, and we were permitted to leave our car in this lot for the 1 night we were over there. If you are doing the same, the taxi ride is about $10.
I would not hesitate to visit this Days Inn again. The only thing that keeps me from giving a 5-star rating is the location on a busy road. The traffic can be a bit noisy on 1st floor rooms that face the highway. There is a second wing that may not have as much traffic noise.
OVERALL: Great place!

We stayed at the Days Inn, Hyannis for one night before we could get in our rented house. I called them on our way in from Boston to let them know that we wouldn't be in until 11 p.m. and they were very accommodating. When we arrived, the person at the desk was very helpful and check-in was easy. Parking was not convenient for where our room was located so we had to park behind the hotel and walk in through the rear entrance. Now, maybe I didn't look hard enough, but I didn't find an elevator and we were on the 2nd floor. Normally not a big deal, but my suitcase was packed for a week's vacation so it was NOT light and lugging it up those steps was not an easy task. Plus, from where we came in, it was a maze to get to our room! Our room was ok, it seemed pretty dated but had all of the necessities. We found someone's shirt under one of the beds which was kind of gross, but we were all so tired, we really just went to sleep as soon as got there. The one negative about the layout of the room is that the sink is in the entryway of the room. I get up very early so I couldn't really turn on the water without disturbing everyone else. Since I did get up early, I went down to the fitness center to get a quick workout in. If it's not already called a fitness room, it should be- there were 3 machines in the space, a treadmill, a bike and an elliptical. I got on the elliptical but had to get off at about 20 minutes into my workout because it was SO hot in the room! If you're going to have 3 machines in that small space, it needs to be a room with good ventilation and the AC needs to be cranked up at all times. After my workout, I went down to the free continental breakfast. It was a decent spread with coffee, juices, bagels, muffins, donuts, cereal & fruit. I had a quick bite, went up to get dressed for the day and headed out. Check-out was very quick and easy once I dragged my 40 lb. suitcase down the stairs!
Overall, it's a good quick stop hotel. I wouldn't make it my base stay for a vacation on the Cape, but for one or two nights, it wasn't too bad.

This past week my family and I spent 6 days at the Days Inn Hyannis. The best that I can say for the rooms is that they are very "dated". The Days Inn website states that the property was recently renovated, but from the looks of the furniture in the room it has not been renovated since the 80's. Additionally, the pillows on the bed were rock hard and there was a constant smell of mildew.
As for the breakfast, if you like cold hard boiled eggs and watered down coffee you'll love it.

We walked in and were greeted by radiant smiling staff and so helpful with giving us great suggestions for sight seeing and restaurants- they even give maps with highlighted directions.
The motel was clean, well maintained and coffee/ tea 24 hours. Breakfast was included and it was better than we thought it would be, enjoyed it. Any little issues in the room were dealt with promptly and with such professionalism. The free internet was a nice touch as well as having a central microwave to use. The best part of our stay here was the wonderful staff. We would definitely stay again, great value for the money.

I stayed at the Days Inn because my daughter was in a dance competition nearby this past week (June 22-29). We took the whole family and were looking to combine the competition with a pleasure vacation. I admit we were also looking to save money and I did not really expect that much from this hotel as I was paying only 100 per night. Well, the place really did surprise me. The front desk people were the nicest hotel staff I have ever met. They were very knowledgeable about the whole area and everything there is to do, telling you back roads and giving great insider knowledge on everything. The pool is very clean and nice, both indoor and outdoor, and the room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was adequate and clean as well. You get a refrigerator in your room, but not every room has a microwave. (there is a microwave down by the front dest everyone can use). One great thing is that internet access is wireless and FREE.
The breakfast was fine: continental with no hot food at all but with hard boiled eggs for some protein (as well as peanut butter). The location was convenient: there is a mall next door, restaurants and coffee places within an easy walk, and it is five easy driving minutes from quaint and beautiful downtown Hyannis, 7 minutes from the Harbor and 10 from the local beaches (which are nice but no waves). We were only 30 minutes from the really nice Cape Cod beaches on the National Seashore. My husband loves to golf and we were also only 30 minutes from Balley Meade, a beautiful and nationally top ranked golf course right on the water (also a bargain at only $70 for 18 holes with a cart during the week!).
Downside: well, this is a roadside hotel, with the rooms looking at either the parking lot and Route 132 in front, or the parking lot in back. The outdoor pool is basically surrounded by a fence in the rear parking lot. Only one pool is open at a time (indoor or outdoor) but the front desk will support you if you want to request the indoor pool at a certain time during the day. As far as breakfast, I've stayed in places like this before where they had a BIT more variety (like make them yourself waffles or heat up your own breakfast sandwiches).
Overall though, I was very pleased. I cannot believe this place was such a bargain price wise and still had so much going for it!
