This place was disgusting. The room was old, damp and DIRTY! The sheets were old and worn, the beds (2 doubles for 4 people) were both so hard we were extremely uncomfortable. They felt like boards. We all agreed we'd never slept on a more uncomfortable bed. There must be a better place to stay in that price range somewhere in Jackson. Don't make the mistake we made and spend a night there. Additionally, there was nothing offered at the continental breakfast but cold cereal at 8:00 in the morning--no juice, just coffee.

I was on a long road-trip and needed a place to stay. I’ve stayed at many Days Inn over the years and expected this one to be of the same quality as most others. The staff told us the room we were getting had been recently renovated and we were the first to stay in it since the renovation. Upon first appearances, the room looked GREAT! Clean, nice TV, fridge, microwave, etc.
Our main problem with this hotel room was not the amenities or location. Both were great. Lots of restaurants around to eat at, and conveniently located near the Interstate. Our problem was with the cleanliness of the room. We found small bits junk and trash around the bed, that had been hiding under the bed spread. We let that go and didn’t ask for another room, but in the morning we found a used towel hanging on the back side of the bathroom door that the maid had missed. Obviously we were not the first people to stay in the room since it’s recent renovation, and we were quite displeased.
We take this route when traveling to see family, and probably won’t stay at this hotel again.

The Days Inn on the 45 Bypass is maybe the best deal in Jackson. I have stayed in several other motels in Jackson over the past few years, and have been disappointed in nearly all of them for one reason or another. I was pleasantly surprised by all aspects of the Days Inn. I stayed in a room on the first floor on the south side of the building. The north side faces a Taco Bell parking lot, so it may be noisier. It appears that rooms are separated by brick walls, not just plaster and studs, and I never heard any sound from either adjacent room. The outer wall is all windows and the AC, so you will hear other doors closing. The night I stayed was booked solid, but I did not hear any excessive noise. The bedclothes were surprisingly attractive. The room was clean, and the facilities, furniture, etc., were in good shape. In the morning (a Sunday), the continental breakfast included the usual fruits, pastries, cereal, but also waffles and biscuits and gravy. For a basic motel at this price range (I paid $55 incl. taxes), you can't beat this one.

A very old property that has been well maintained and given small updates. Comfortable bed (but not a "super bed"), clean room and slightly updated bath. Breakfast is the standard but is kept filled (staff were making their breakfasts from it). Nice, touch, fresh donut store donuts (don't even see this a more upscale places next to a store). Staff seems attentive and eager to please - the owners names
are on the wall (real names not a company).
I stay at a lot of properties for business, from ones like these ,to 4 stars and if all you want is a clean place to sleep near the hwy where everything works at a low price this is it. Have stayed here 3 times and don't see the reason to change. If staying for more than 1 night and would be in the room more might look for something more comfortable.

My daughter and I stopped here overnight on a trip to Gatlinburg.
The hotel offered a rate of $39.99 plus applicable taxes.
Our room boasted two queen-sized beds. When we entered the room, the AC was already running (something almost unheard of) and it smelled clean and fresh. The bath/sink area was also clean. Upon slipping between the sheets, the first thing I noticed was their nice fresh scent. The hotel was quiet and we got a good night's sleep.
Next morning, we enjoyed the continental breakfast offered by the hotel. In addition to the standard fare (danishes, bagels, toast, cereal, juice, etc.), the hotel offered fresh donuts from Dunkin Donuts, a waffle iron and biscuits and gravy.
I would definitely stay here again.
