First of all, Hotwire gave me a more expensive rate than what I would have paid if I would have went to the hotel on my own ($15 more per night). This hotel is DIRTY! They allow pets but I didn't expect to find pet hair all over my room including on my supposidly clean "sheets". Rooms are very small and the bathroom is just big enough for the tub and toilet, so you can barely turn around in there. The vanity is out in the room. They supply you with very little towels. Breakfast was the worst I have ever seen in a hotel. Parking is another story. There is barely enough so be prepared for some door bangs because they are so tight. The hallways aren't air conditioned. Staff was confused about how to accept Hotwire payments along with my own personal credit card for an extra night since we arrived early. I spent nearly 25 minutes in the lobby trying to straighten that out. There are so many other nice hotels in this area. Don't waste your $ on this one. You will leave your room feeling like you need to shower. Oh, good night sleep? If you are used to sleeping on hard surfaces you may like the beds here.

Seemed pleasant and well located for the park and fly feature. Upon arrival I realized that I might not have a car to come back to.
I canceled my room and told them to charge the single night fair. To my surprise they charged me for two rooms, refused to talk to me about transaction. I am pursuing futher actions with Days Inn corporate.

I have now stayed at this hotel twice. First time was around October 27, 2007 for a few nights and most recently June 3-9, 2008. We always request room on first floor to make it easier to pack bags, and get to our room, and they've always fulfilled that request. Rooms have always been cleaned very well. Bed was comfortable, and had wonderful pillows. I think each bed had 4 pillows if i'm not mistaken. The rooms have a very nice refrigerator/freezer (bigger than all of the hotels i've stayed in). Great shower head in the shower (also like the curved curtain rods in the shower). We could sometimes hear noise from people walking in their room above us but it was not disturbing to us. I was reading a review on here and it mentioned bad area of town, blah, blah, blah. I had a friend who had a friend who told her Dickerson Pike was a bad area of town as well. I never experience anything bad in this part of town and found it very close to my destinations- like 12 minutes from downtown, and only 5 minutes from the Opry. I bought gas, very nearby, shopped at the Walgreens nearby, and have even went to the Waffle House and McDonald's which was very convenient when you had a late night in town. I liked that it was right off of the interstate. My last trip we were there for the CMA Music Festival. Our last night there I ventured to the pool to cool off. I accidentally swallowed a little bit of the water in the pool and it was salty, and I didn't smell of chlorine when getting out and it seemed very clean. I also liked that the coffee pot was set for a single cup. The coffee was not good, however, but seemed to be the standard brand you get in rooms, and that did not bother me. Staff was friendly and gave me maps, and information on shuttles running during the festival (we chose to drive our own car, as it was much cheaper to do so). I even found the curtains to be nice and thick to block sunlight.

The location of this hotel was exactly what we were looking for since the majority of our trip was dedicated to Opry Mills mall. The price was the best we could find in the area.
Our room was very quiet. We only heard people in the hallway once all night long. There was no road noise even though the hotel is directly across the street from a major highway. The room was very clean. Except for the ants around the dresser in the room and a couple of them found there way onto our person and into our car. But, I'd rather have tiny ants in my room than cockroaches ANY DAY!
Pets are allowed at this hotel. This didn't become an issue until breakfast the following morning. People were walking their dogs directly in front of the food. Seriously there were dogs within a foot of the food we were supposed to eat for breakfast.
We brought these issues to the attention of the manager of the hotel. He could not have cared less that we were unhappy with our stay.

Stayed at this place for three nights..this place is a dump. The front desk and the manager treat you like crap. They charge a $30 shuttle fee to take you to town and pick you up.Twice I was not picked up and ended up paying for a cab.Once they said I hadn't paid which I did..the second time they said they couldn't find me.They are definitely not customer friendly.I ended up checking out two days early and found a hotel which I was glad to pay twice as much for.Don't walk around the neighborhood.I met several other people there during my stay that were checking out early also. The pics of this hotel must be when it was brand new.The pool was green and mucky. The daytime front desk clerk barely speaks English.By the way..I am not a complainer so this had to be awfully bad for me to write a review...
