What a dump !! I got into town at 12 midnight, and had to be up and out at 5:30am or I would have left. Carpets were filthy, I would not walk in the room without wearing shoes. I stood on towels in the shower and bathroom floors, and no way was I drinking out the cups. I slept on top of the comforter as I was afraid what may lurk underneath. The bathroom was very dirty and outdated. They had cheap run down furniture and TV, all this placed in a scary neighborhood for your sleeping pleasure. I dragged the dresser in front of the door, and was praying my car would still be there when I woke up.. Do yourself a favor and let this review be as close as you get to staying there.
The friendly staff cannot overcome the complete disgust of the building. Any positive reviews must be from the owner.

I was coming to the Pottstown area for business and wanted a convenient place to stay. Convenience is about all I can say for this place. The room was filthy. The carpet was so dirty I had to buy slippers because walking from the bathroom to the bed left my feet dirty. There was white mold on the carpet starting behind the door and running the length of the room. The door between rooms didn't lock so I had to move the dresser in front of it to keep it closed. TV was ancient and only half the channels worked. The smell was unbearable - had to buy Febreeze and treat the room just to stay there.
The bathroom light was one of those work lights on a long extension cord with a hook - just like the ones mechanics use under the hood of the car when they need more light. Tile was cracked, falling off the wall, paint went over the outlets and switchplates. Refrigerator was dirty, continental breakfast was 3 stale danish and half a pot of coffee.... I could just keep going on. Stay anywhere else if you're in the area and avoid this place like the plague. Oh, did I mention the guys selling stolen tires & rims in the parking lot?

The hotel was not only filthy, it also had broken and run down walls and etc. Refrigerator was unsanitary, the TV was broken, the phone did not work, the smoke alarm was falling out of the wall, the lamp over the bed was broken and disconnected from the wall, the shower curtain rod was hanging from the wall, there was a hole in the wall, the sink was hanging from the fixtures, the bathroom toilet was having an flushing problem, the door did not carry a chain lock and, it looked to have been kicked in before since it was partially showing a crack in it even when it was closed. The door was also loose and did not even close properly. Purposes a safety hazard. The food? On a scale from 1-10 would be a 1.”

overall, this was a great experience staying at days inn of pottstown. Booking the room, I thought that because the rooms were cheap, it must have been not as good. But overall, when I stepped inside the double bedroom; it was spacious and the facilities were overall very good. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly especially Nick, the manager. There was a coffee maker with 2 or 3 different kinds of espresso with micro-fridge. In the morning, there was a free continental breakfast with pastries, bagels, fresh grounded coffee, fresh juice, milk, cereals, and apples etc, I came for a wedding which was nearby and the directions the manager gave were perfect! The shopping is great also because of King Of Prussia Mall and Philadelphia was only 40 min. away! I would stay here again if I pass through that area.

I needed to be in King of Prusia early in the morning so I decided to book a room for the night before to save an early morning drive.
Neither the hotel or the room that I found when I arrived were the one pictured on the web site. The neighbor hood was scary but I checked in any way. I must say that the person at the front desk was very nice and friendly. I complimented her on her helpfulness. I went to my room. I looked around and went out and got in to my car and left. I would have rather slept in my car than in the room that I was given. I was looking forward to spending the night in a nice clean room relaxing and watching TV. A little mini get away.
Hotels should not be allowed to use stock photos for thier web sites. It is not fair to the traveler that has never stayed in the area.
I don't think I will ever book another Days Inn on line.
I did not go the the office and ask for my money back, I just wanted out of the place.
