My husband and i truck and we had been on the road for 2 weeks and wanted to take the weekend off to relax in a motel. We chose the days inn because the pictures looked nice online. But were we in for a surprise!! The place is NOT fit to be stayed in! The bathtub faucet wasn't even attached to the wall so when we tried to take a shower it would come off and the water would just shoot out. The tv barely worked, there was a bunch of the woodwork that wasn't painted, the breakfast was unedible, everything was hard and stale. We would definitely NEVER stay there again!!!!
Worst hotel ever!

The pool room was 66 degrees, the pool water was 74, the hot tub and wireless internet do not exist. (The hotel advertises in-room wireless internet, a heated indoor pool and a hot tub.) Upon complaining I was told that internet access was available at the public computer in the front office and they were sorry about the lack of heat in the heated pool room.
The look of the hotel is deceiving also - The front office looks nice, but upon registration and payment you are directed outside through the back doors of the office to the rooms in the ugly, run down building located out back.
The rooms smelled like old socks, the tub was cracked and the bathroom featured rotting wood around the door.
Two of the three lights in the room were inoperable and the television randomly changed channels by itself. Bathroom lighting was good.
We stayed for approximately an hour, then checked out and found another hotel. The desk clerk (April) was pleasant, she informed us that the hotel manager (Beverly) was off that day and we should call her the next day about obtaining a refund of the room price.
This hotel has serious issues and reflect poorly on the Days Inn chain. Would not return to this hotel and would certainly not recommend it to others.
I checked out of the hotel within 40 minutes of registering and a week later I'm still being given the runaround for a refund.

We had driven in our car for about 12 hours when we decided to stop. We ended up in Marion, IL and after walking into 2 other hotels that were priced a bit higher than we wanted to spend, we tried the Days Inn. The room was very reasonably priced, the check-in was painless, and the staff was very welcoming.
The room was very acceptable and clean. There is a pool, but we were not there long enough to check it out. In the morning, we were offered a complimentary USA Today and a continental breakfast including donuts, toast, juice, cereal, and more. Overall, a nice place to stay.
