We were very pleased with the location of this hotel. It was very close to the Vancouver lookout and harbor center complex. Also the waterfront and Canada place was close. Gastown was a quick walk too. Upon checking in, we had to valet our car ($26/night) which is the worst part but parking in Vancouver is very expensive. This includes in and out privileges.
The check in process went smoothly and the receptionists were very pleasant. The room was nice overall. Nicely decorated with a living room like area with TV, sofa, desk, elegant desk chair, minibar. We had to order a refrigerator separately for our things. The bathroom was nice too and very clean. The bedroom was separated by a sliding door from the rest of the area making it a more private space and giving it more a suite feel. I really thought this concept was innovative. The door had frosty glass and it looked very modern. The bedroom has nightstands on both sides and a TV. The bed is very comfortable too.
We loved the location and the friendly service. For the price we paid on Priceline, this hotel cannot be beat and gets 4 stars.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. Positive aspects were:
- Friendly, helpful staff
- They provided a gift for our toddler; which is above and beyond what most hotels do.
- Room was clean, quiet and modern
- Queen suite had room for our pack and play
- Comfortable bedding.
Negatives
- "Suite" means that there is a screen separating the space with the bed from the sitting space. It might be helpful if you're having a business meeting in your hotel room or something, but it's not a sound or light barrier that you might want if you're traveling with a child.
- It's downtown where there are literally crowds of homeless people. Kinda unnerving when we were trying to unpack/pack our car and our toddler was out.

I stayed at this hotel for one night and it was a great place to stay. It was right downtown within walking distance to interesting sights, restaurants and the water. It was close to the main office for the Big Bus Tour company in case you're looking for a great way to see the city. It also felt really safe to be walking around there alone.
The only reason I've given this hotel an average rating is because I didn't try the restuarant or the other hotel amenities.
The room was nicely laid out, the bed was very comfortable, nice robe and toiletries in the bathroom. The room was clean and quiet and the newspaper was outside my door in the morning. It was exactly what I was looking for and I would definitely stay there again.

When travelling with my mum, I decided to upgrade to a superior room on the 14th floor, a 'closed-style' suite, which had separate bedroom and living areas.
The presentation of the hotel is great - the lobby is very open and looks modern, the breakfast and restaurant area is pleasant, with windows overlooking the street.
Staff are attentive and very polite, and many took the time to talk at length with us about our trip... the food is also very good.
However, for the extra money I paid, I expected alot more.
The room was very small, with a weird dark corridor between the bedroom and living area. The decor was modern, but a little cheap and sometimes scruffy. Wall papering and easy-chairs could be nominated for a length of service award!
It was a good hotel, but I wish I hadn't upgraded. I should have also booked through a discount website. The most expensive hotel of our trip, but not the best.
