I just returned from a visit to Crolles, France during which I stayed at this hotel. I found the hotel room to be clean and comfortable and inexpensive, but rather basic in amenities. The bed was decent, the bathroom functional and clean, the desk tiny, and there was little space to hang or store clothing. The room was comfortable during the cool days I was there, but I'm not sure there was any air conditioning to deal with heat or humidity. The front desk staff were generally friendly and helpful. The hotel had a pretty reasonable restaurant, with a nice breakfast buffet and acceptable dinner choices, particularly as there was little else to choose from close by. Again, it was nothing fancy, but it worked for me. (If you have access to transportation, the Le Poivre restaurant is not too far away by auto and is quite good.) The hotel is well located for those with business at the ST Microelectronics facility who don't want to have to commute from Grenoble, and there are nice views of the surrounding mountains. I wouldn't have a problem staying at the Pradotel again on business. One final note. Some web sites show this hotel as being in downtown Grenoble (wrong!), and others do not accurately show its location in Crolles. The hotel is located west of A41 at exit 25a between the first and second rotaries on the north side of Avenue Ambroise Croizat. If you review the picture of the front of the hotel, you can't miss it.
