I've stayed in the hotel for 9 days and the experience can only be described in one word: HORRIBLE. The rooms have a very unpleasant look and smell - mostly from dampness. The elevator is quite scary and very unsafe. If you'd think that taking the stairs is better, watch out: they are made of wood and some of the pieces are unstable. Breakfast (for which you pay more than 6 EUR) is extremely disappointing consisting of: one croissant (greasy like hell), one piece of bread, some butter and coffee.
Staff were quite unfriendly, but maybe this perception is due to cultural differences.
Please don't make the same mistake I did! Look for a different hotel in order to make your stay in Paris worthwhile.

Booked hotel bristol as part of a three night stay to paris with easyjet. It was my first mini hol with my bf of a year and i had been looking forward to it. It probably didnt help that i was alittle poorly when we left but i was optimistic. By the time we found the hotel i was relieved. It is near the metro and the area isnt too bad. However as soon as we arrived we got the impression the staff werent very friendly and we observed this when other guests arrived. The lift is old and smells terrible however the stairs are unlikely to be better as the hand rails are broken on some levels and i nearly fell at one point. The room itself was poorly lit, damp and smelled a little strange perhaps due to damp. There were tiles lose in the bathroom along with the hand basin stand. My coughing was automatically worse having been in the room for 5 minutes alone. The night was worse. Outside this hotel is a bar that must have a 24hour license something we werent warned about. the noise was absolutley ridicuolous. Dont get me wrong i understand a good night even though it was monday but this happened every night we were there and i'm 19 i understand a good night out. but there should have been a warning. The bed was hard and lumpy very uncomfortable. My boyfriend got this horrible rash from the bed sheets. The room was tidied once during our stay and we had to request clean towels. The breakfast- if you can call it that- consisted of one small crossiant and a bit of bread and tea or coffee, i dont take either and was left with not even water. Overall this was a very unpleasant stay. The room was dank and unclean, the service very poor and I'm very upset with the whole ordeal. I really wish they recieved a surprise inspection because they certainly dont deserve that 3 star rating! Worst hotel ive ever stayed in!!!

We were booked in at this hotel and after reading the reviews we were concerned but I was pleasantly supprised the room although very basic was clean, bed was clean, staff where very helpfull and breakfast was nice
Now for the but........ we stayed at the weekend and on the first night (sat) we were unable to sleep, the noise from outside in the streets was unbearable it eventually quietened down at approx 5 am and we had to be up for breakfast at 8, we were left tired and stressed for the next day and sunday night was not much better. The area is okish lots of "down and outs" and beggars.
Only the noise let this hotel down it was a pleasant hotel and we got good value for money from the hotel

We were a bit apprehensive after reading previous reviews of this hotel, having already booked.
However we thought we`d give it a chance.
On arrival just after midday our room was ready, even though we were warned we might not be able to check in til 2pm.
The room was basic,no iron or tea and coffee and just a bath, no proper shower, but clean and serviced daily.
The staff were friendly and helpful for the most part.
Slept well for the first two nights, the third night was a bit noisy outside, but it was a Friday and you could get that anywhere in the world.
Lamentable
