It's the second time that I spend my holidays in this hotel, and really, really is the best option in that zone. Rooms are quite confortable with a lot of facilities. The hotel is located in a very calm place, so it is fantastic to rest. The unique problem is the service of the waiters, that they are not authentic professionals, so you have to arm with a lot of patience. I don't recommend to go to the beach in front of the hotel, is better to take a car and go to Parque Lo Enebrales (near Punta Umbria), park close to the trees, and to cross the gangplanks to the paradise.

È la seconda volta che trascorro le mie vacanze in quest’hotel, ed è senza dubbio la migliore soluzione della zona. Le camere sono accoglienti con tante comodità. L’hotel è ubicato in una zona molto tranquilla, quindi è fantastico per riposare. L’unico problema è il servizio dei camerieri, non sono dei veri professionisti, dunque bisogna armarsi di un bel po’ di pazienza. Non consiglio di andare alla spiaggia di fronte l’hotel, è meglio prendere una macchina e andare al Parque Los Enebrales (vicino Punta Umbria), parcheggiare vicino agli alberi e attraversare le passerelle che conducono a un vero paradiso.

Es la segunda vez que paso las vacaciones en este hotel, y realmente, es, en verdad, la mejor opción en esa zona. Las habitaciones son bastante cómodas, con muchos servicios. El hotel está situado en un lugar muy calmado, de modo que es fantástico para descansar. El único problemilla es el servicio de los camareros, que no son verdaderos profesionales, de modo que tienes que armarte de mucha paciencia. No recomiendo ir a la playa de enfrente del hotel, es mejor coger el coche e ir al Parque de Los Enebrales (cerca de Punta Umbría), un parque cerca de los árboles, y también, cruzar los embarcaderos para ir al paraíso.

3/4/2006 My wife and i have just returned from a week at the AC nuevo portil hotel, we went to play golf on various courses in the area. The hotel was very very good in many aspects, the room was very comfortable, clean and had a great shower. Ask the maid to change the TOWELS and they will be changed everyday but if you DONT ask it will be every other day.****PLEASE NOTE THIS HOTEL DOES NOT CHANGE TRAVELLERS CHEQUES OR CASH FOR EUROS we had to change them in CARTAYA 6 miles away at Bank de Santander. The golf cours at the hotel is the best in the area by far, El Rompido golf course was busy busy and in POOR condition, Islantilla course was also busy busy 5 hour round. Great area virtually untouched by tourism take a spanish phrase book little english spoken but we enjoyed trying out our little spanish we would return to this hotel
