This place isn't as flashy as some it's more upscale neighbors, but they work hard to provide their guests with a clean , comfortable vacation setting. The pool is somewhat small, but we never had a problem finding lounge chairs. The same goes for the beach area, which is just a about a hundred feet down a path from the pool. The restaurant/bar area by the pool had decent food and drinks at reasonable prices, with daily specials. Beach towels are provided free of charge, but must be signed out at the front desk. The free continental breakfast was pretty good, with indoor/outoor seating just off the lobby. We had a studio suite, which is the cheapest room available, and found it to have ample space. there was a small sittting area with a couch and a kitchen area with a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and fridge. Housekeeping service was excellent.
We only had a couple of minor complaints. We found the mattress in our room too soft for our liking. If you are into firm mattresses, as we are, this could be an issue. We also found the soundproofing of the room to be insufficient. Several times during our six night stay, we were awakened by late night conversations in other rooms. There's a construction project going on between the hotel and the beach, so it gets little noisy during the day. I would estimate that this project will take most of the winter to complete.
If you're not too picky, this place is an excellent value. The Marriott next door costs about double, and yes, it is very nice. But you will spend a lot of money on food and drink there. We went over there a couple of times to look at their turtle pond, and we booked our excursions through their tour desk.

Located in the middle of 7 mile bech, surrounded by various restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as bars, however the hotel does have a good bar next to the beachwith entertainment on Wednesday's & Saturdays each week and is manned by friendly staff.
also on the premises is a dive shop which offers training as well as qualifications should you wish to take up the offer, sadly this does not appeal to me so unable to give my personal view but heard good things from those who had taken up the offer.
access to the beach is available down a short passageway about 20 yards from the hotel.
apart from the food at the bar which has a limited menu, the hotel itself does not have its own restaurant, so be prepared to eat out in the evenings at one of the many restaurants close by, would not recommend going into Georgetown as after all the cruise ships have left is rather deserted, so all the night life is right at hand, yet far enough away not to be heard, just like the main road, where you could pick up the popular shuttle buses at a very good price and also easier to get than a taxi at times.
The rooms are spacious and cleannot to mention smoke free due to the hotels non-smoking policy something to bear in mind if you wish to smoke

We booked through priceline - but the choose your hotel, not the bidding section- Got a great rate and was super pleased with the hotel. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the fridge saved money on food and we had all the supplies to microwave food and prepare picnic's. We were scuba diving and although no-tub is a little difficult, we still managed to clean and dry our gear in the shower cubicle.
Staff were very helpful, happy and friendly, bar has great prices. Short walk to the beach- excellent for sunsets and there is surprisingly good snorkelling off the beach where they have put artificial reef balls- really good actually. Breakfast was plentiful and good - walkable to bars and restaurants- pool and hot-tub open 24 hours.
Overall it was a perfect stay- the only bad thing was the TV channel switching to a local station right as a Bears touchdown pass was thrown!!!
I wish I was still there now!!!

This Hotel was exactly what the family and I needed. I was able to relax by the pool and the kids had a great time.
The room we had was fantastic. I spent a lot of time on the beach or in the water and after a full day out there the beds were comfortable and the entire place was spotless.
I don't travel much but took a recommendation from a friend to go there. It was a great decision and I will definitely go there again next year.
My wife and I had planned on moving on to another Island after a couple of days but the kids were having so much fun that we cancelled our plans and stuck there for the remainder of the week.
The last thing I can say is the friendliness of the staff. From the Manager Tom, right down to our housekeepers. They were were all courteous and attentive to our needs.
Take this from me: I am a very discerning customer and am what you can call particular. This place was all I was hoping for and more. Thanks to everyone there. It's no wonder they have won awards.
