There's not much to say about the AC Lisbon, it's a great Hotel. The location is near a old Palace which was converted to a shopping center. It has 2 subways stations nearby, more or less 5 minutes walking.
The Gulbenkian Foundantion/Museum/Park can be reach by a 10 minute walk and it deserves a visit! El corte ingles, a general supermarket is also nearby.
Some strong points of this hotel are: large room with a cool bathroom, friendly staff , the decoration is modern and the breakfast is great.

The AC Lisboa is a little out of the way - but it is an easy walk to the main part of town. There are several bus stops just around the corner that will take you all over town, including easy access to the theives market. It's easy to purchase tickets from the driver.
Our room was very clean and modern - plenty of room to open 2 huge suitcases on the floor, and leave them open for our 3 day stay. The bathroom was lovely - great shower over bath, really good design.
The free minibar is a bonus, and even if you do pay a small amount more for this service as part of the standard rate, it's still worth it - at least you don't have to cringe every time you open a drink, thinking about how much you are getting ripped off, like most minibars.
The lobby area is inviting, almost like a plush bar or cafe - we were happy to sit and read the paper, enjoying the soft drink and coffee provided.
Breakfast was excellent - not a huge selection, but still a great choice of local & international options. We had no problems with the quantity of food, but we were there fairly early.
We found the staff helpful, although we did not need to speak to them often. They did provide a sight-seeing map which made it easy to find our way back to the hotel.
BEWARE!!! We were caught out by a rogue taxi driver from the airport to the hotel - he did not have the meter running, and we were so tired from our flight we did not notice - consequently, we paid almost double the actual fare. Our taxi driver back to the airport a few days later was brilliant, and he said it's safest to get a cab from the departures sections, rather than arrivals. Anyway - be sure to keep your eye on that meter!

Un bon hôtel
Guest name: Anonymous
