We spent 2 nights at this hotel, it was very nice. The public areas were very pleasant and our room was very comfortable expecially the king size bed.
The hotel is only about 1/2 mile from the airport and is very quiet for an airport hotel.
The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable

I visit Tucson often and stay at the Airport Courtyard frequently. Its a decent hotel and very convenient to the airport and businesses in south Tucson. If you want a scenic vista or great amenities, then stay somewhere else, but if you want to keep it simple and have a nice clean room then the Courtyard is a good choice. A down side is that most of the best restaurants are a bit of a drive north. However, you can't beat the short trip to/from the airport when you get in late or have that early morning flight back home. I have stayed at most of the airport hotels and think the Courtyard stacks up well against others (especially if you are into Marriott Rewards).

We booked a hotel here for one night after hiking and camping in some area mountains. Upon walking into the lobby, the front desk woman looked at us like we were martians and how dare we come in to that hotel looking like that (we were in hiking clothes, a little dusty from the desert, but no mud or smell). Told her my last name, she set the key down on the counter and did not say another word to us. After showering and changing clothes we walked back down there and she was as nice as could be (and she didn't recognize us from 30 minutes prior).
The pool was nice but the hot tub was not very hot. In the morning it did have a nice cool breeze blowing across the top to give a pleasant experience.
When I went down to the pool, my husband was still asleep with the "do not disturb" sign on the door.. Housekeeping walked in anyways.
There are dining options at the hotel, but no free continental breakfast.
I would stay here again. The Hampton Inn on Grant was much nicer, more reasonable and staff didn't have the attitude.

You never know what you are going to get with airport hotels, but I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this property was! I was able to talk to the sales agent into a $69 rate, but it was July, so the demand isn't as great (give it a shot and ask, I always say!). All I wanted was a clean, comfy bed to sleep in after a 5 hour flight from New York that got in late, and I got more than that. The hotel staff knew I had a late arrival and actually asked if I was Mr. so-and-so when I got in!
The room was huge and had a couch. Bathroom and room were very clean. I would definitely stay here if I just needed a base or place to sleep. I'd say the pool is way too small for families wanting a place for a 2+ night vacation. The rooms are large enough (and the couch folds out into a bed if you need it) for a family, though.

I booked the Courtyard for $85/night; much more than some of the other Tucson airport hotels were asking for the night. I thought it would be worth the extra money to have a quiet and clean hotel. I thought wrong.
Upon arriving the first room that I was issued smelled like stale smoke. I was going to deal with that; but, inspection of the bed revealed hairs in the sheets. I went down to the front desk and asked to be assigned a different room, which they did no problem.
The second room was a little better as it did not smell as stale; but still had an odor. However, upon opening the sheets in the bed, I once again found hairs. Not one, but several. My guess is that their washer is not strong enough, as the sheets in both rooms appeared clean to the eye (not wrinkled); but, the hair was still very repulsive. I called housekeeping and asked if they could bring new sheets (I had decided that I would make the bed up myself.) They did bring new linens after three phone calls and two hours of waiting.
All and all, if you need to stay at the Tucson Airport, save your money and stay at one of the other hotels; or, better yet just stay downtown.
