The room reservation was made in November 2007. However, when we arrived, the front desk staff said they "did not think we were coming. " This was after I had also phoned them 3 times earlier in the week to confirm our reservation, which was already paid for. We were told on arrival that the nice rooms with views had been given to people who had "walked in off the street" that evening. Our room was okay, but there were no apologies expressed by the hotel, and the "view" was of the noisy street. The room was clean and beds okay, but there was a real lack of amenities in the room--like kleenex--and this was supposed to be a top of the line room! The staff were not friendly or helpful, and there was a lack of basic customer service training. This could be a real detriment, considering that Zaragoza is hosting an international expo (until Sept 2008!)

We have stayed at this hotel on two occasions. The first was during 2005 on a driving holiday to Spain and back. On the return leg we stayed here , turning up at the last minute and got the last room available in the hotel. Reception was helpful and the staff spoke English. The room as just as good.
The room was next to the elevator and stairs, a bit on the small side but otherwise clean and newish.
The view out of the room was into a central atrium but it was quiet, despite a wedding going on down stairs we slept fine.
Second time round was 12 months later in May 2006 and the Hotels location in the middle of the action was fabulous. Walking distance to all af the city centre attractions especially if you wish to visit the Basilica.
The hotel has a two storey underground car park. Rooms are very clean, and rates are cheap - check out the official site as it is cheaper if the lead name is under 25. Also check out the other reviews I have done for NH hotels. On the whole the hotel is great , clean fresh rooms, car parking at little cost and on the primary routes in and out of town yet remains quiet. You would be hard pushed to find this level of comfort and facilities in the UK or France for that matter. On a par with the very best Campinile / Accord hotels but better for the money.
If there is a negative it is that the hotel is on a one way street. You need satnav to ensure that you do not go around the block too many times. Use the bus stop outside the reception to park/ Check in and then you can drive straight into the car park without reversing or going around the block.
