I agree with many of the previous reviews that this is not up to the normal Crown Plaza experience, however it was reasonably priced and having status with Priority Club, was upgraded to a larger room. The room had a sofa and desk as well as the double bed, fridge and really everything I could need. The breakfast buffet was extensive but not really worth 20 Euro. So if you are a breakfast person, it might be worth getting a rate that includes breakfast. Did not eat at the hotel, so cant comment. Nearby (1 block walk) I found an excellent italian restaurant - La Forchetta - see review elsewhere. Location: simple train ride from Frankfurt airport 3.60 Euro each way and then a 10 minute walk from station.. Free internet access in business center in lobby. Walking distance to central Wiesbaden and also the mall, which is adjacent to the station.. Would definately stay here again.

Die sehr gute Lage (nähe zum Stadtzentrum und Hauptbahnhof) und der sehr nette Service des gesamten Personals können den eher mäßigen Zustand des Gebäudes etwas aufwiegen. Insbesondere ist das Mobiliar veraltet, die Zimmer sind eher klein und insbesondere die Fußböden sehr, sehr uneben (als ob der Estrich unter den Teppichen hochkommt). Fitnessbereich wirkt veraltet und beengt. Laufband, Stepper, Fahrrad und Maschinen scheinen noch aus einer anderen Zeit zu kommen, funktionieren aber noch einwandfrei. Für Business und kurze Aufenthalte ok, längere Aufenthalte würde ich nicht planen.

I recently stayed at this hotel while on a short trip to Germany. The hotel is about a $70 cab ( 50 Euro ) ride from the airport. Upon arrival, check in process was easy and the staff is friendly and helpful towards answering any questions in regards to the local area and transportation needs. The rooms are standard which provide the basic accomodation of any regular Holiday Inn, but nothing fancy or extra ammenities. There is a small hotel bar named Tiffany's, and the breakfast is pretty good, sort of American buffet style. The stay itself is o.k if you just need a place to sleep and shower, but do not expect anything of Crowne Plaza standards here.

Not a destination hotel, but if you have to stop over in Wiesbaden, it is clean, modern, nicely maintained and very centrally located. Staff were very helpful and friendly. When the maid asked if there was anything else we needed in our room, my 7 year old waved the Milka chocolate he found on his pillow -- the maid soon returned with a large handful of purple-wrapped goodies much to his delight! The pool, gym and sauna are small but well maintained and were very quiet when we were there. Top tips: 1) Find cheaper parking than the hotel (€18 per day seemed stiff to me); 2) Find breakfast in the town rather than paying €20 per head in the hotel; we went to a delightful cafe, Blum, on Wilhelmstrasse.

Das Crowne Plaza in Wiesbaden befindet sich nahe der Fußgängerzone in der Innenstadt und hat eine eigene, überteuerte Tiefgarage. Der Witz war, dass sie dort ihren Gästen mehr Geld abgeknöpft haben als den Leuten von der Straße. Es gab dort ein Schild, dass Parkplätze zu einem sehr günstigen Tarif anbot. Meine Frage, ob auch Hotelgäste diesen Tarif bekommen könnten, wurde mit ‚Nein’ beantwortet. Das Zimmer hatte ungefähr den durchschnittlichen Standard für ein deutsches Hotel. Ich hatte aufgrund meiner goldenen Priority-Club-Karte einen Upgrade bekommen und möchte lieber nicht wissen, wie die normalen Zimmer dort aussehen. Ich war insgesamt für 25 Nächte in diesem Hotel. Ich habe insgesamt viermal recht verdächtige Flecken in der Bettwäsche entdecken können. Es war im Sommer sehr heiß dort, glücklicherweise gab es eine Klimaanlage, die zwar nicht sehr stark war, aber das Zimmer gekühlt hat. Die Korridore aber waren warm und die Zimmermädchen waren dort immer am schwitzen und mufften auch ein wenig, man konnte den Gestank manchmal sogar noch im Zimmer riechen. Das Frühstück – ein amerikanisches - war gut, aber nicht im Preis mit drin. Wenn man aber eine Woche oder länger dort ist, dann wird es schnell langweilig, da die Auswahl nicht sehr groß war. Die Mahlzeiten im Restaurant am Abend waren überteuert und auch nicht so gut. Das Personal war in der Regel freundlich, manchmal etwas kurz angebunden. Richtigen Kundenservice kennen sie dort noch nicht. Sie haben einem für alles was berechnet, aber immer mit einem Lächeln auf den Lippen. Insgesamt war es ein Holiday Inn im Gewand eines Crowne Plaza. Die Lobby war auch immer verraucht und um in sein Zimmer zu kommen, musste man erst einmal durch den ganzen Rauch durch. Das Hilton in Mainz ist besser und auch in Wiesbaden gibt es für längere Aufenthalte bessere Hotels. Wenn Sie eine Unterkunft für eine oder zwei Nächte suchen, dann werden Sie dort zufrieden sein, aber fragen Sie nach den Preisen dort...
