I stayed 4 nights at Crown Plaza in June 2008 participating in the European Coaching Conference. The hotel is conveniently placed close to the airport (use the shuttle). You can also reach central Geneva with bus nr 5 - just ask for the free travel card from the reception. The room was ok - but not quite five stars. Coffee and tea machine on the room was fine. The only bigger minus is the 20 ? per day you had to pay for your wlan connection. Internet should be free in a hotel of this class!

Everything one would expect of a five star hotel - clean, efficient, roomy, comfortable - and expensive! Very conveniently located for the airport, train station and conference center. Special mention has to go to the breakfasts.

Only one night and used loyalty points but was very impressed with the design of the hotel. Nothing special from outside but the bar, restaurant, lobby and upgraded room in the rive droite were all great. Concierge supplied free travel pass for Geneva public transport; breakfast was good quality; room was spacious and quiet - all made for a very enjoyable stay.

Had a comfortable stay at the Crowne Plaza. Pros: Spacious, clean, well appointed rooms with in room teas and coffees, huge bathroom (tub and shower), gym that offers Les Mills classes, very smart design around the lobby area, friendly staff (esp. Paul, so helpful!), frequent shuttle to the airport. Cons: Price! A coffee and light snack (4 crostinis) at the lobby bar cost 20 CHF! Also, if you are a light sleeper, remember your ear plugs. You can start hearing the planes at 6 a.m.

This modern and busy business and congress hotel next to the Palexpo is just around 500m away from the exit of the airport train station, but I highly recommend to use the provided hotel shuttle running every 20mins. from and to exit No. 4 at the arrival hall, also use this transportation if arriving by train, which connects the airport to the main train station in only 6mins. The walk could be a hassle, especially with lots of luggage and stormy weather! The hotel is divided into 2 buildings, a new modern one (Rive gauche) and the old wing. My spacious twin bed room in the modern wing on the 3th floor was even suitable for a longer stay, also the noise level was decent. It offered everything you’ll need: inroom safe, ironing set, trouser press, luggage tray, flatscreen TV, Wifi or LAN-connection at charge (CHF 32.- for 24hrs) and a very large modern bathroom with separate shower cabinet and bathtub. This is a congress hotel and opulently equipped as an airport hotel: swimming pool, different bars and restaurants and as a highlight an state-of-the-start fully equipped fitness center which deserves this name! The breakfast buffet was delicious and rich. I’d certainly return here.
