Great Hotel
Guest name: PrincessMJ, Lancashire UK
We stayed at this hotel on the recommendation of a business colleague. It was a lovely hotel, professional staff and with lots of faciities. It has a great bar in the cellar which gets really crowded (in a good way) and has a great atmosphere.
The hotel is central to the city centre, and is only a stones throw away from the Cathedral and square. There are several great restaurants down the side street of the hotel which are well worth a try,

Nice clean hotel steps away from the Cathedral and all the nightlife Murcia has to offer.
We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of September. Murcia is a myriad of tight narrow streets and this hotel is in the very centre of the city.
Rooms are very clean, spacious, modern and comfortable with nice bathrooms, only downside is no views due it being slap bang in the middle of the city.
There is a nice cavern bar in the basement, and the prices are very cheap for a city hotel - beware though, if you don't like smoke, give it a miss as EVERYONE seems to smoke and there is no smoking ban like here.
Breakfast is a good choice of cold hams, cheese, bread etc but there was also hot bacon and eggs.
There is a casino in the hotel, about 5 euros to enter and you need your passport to get in.
Very few people speak English so I suggest oyu brush up on your Spanish before you go.
I would recommend this hotel for your trip to Murcia - which is a beautiful Spanish city, almost untouched by mass tourism.
Not sure about parking as we were driven there by someone.

An extremely comfortable hotel with efficient air conditioning throughout, decent sized bedrooms and a large lounge/foyer. The hotel was virtually empty and hence extremely quiet. However the lack of carpets and concrete construction means that noise carries and it might not be so pleasant if the hotel was full.
Excellent maid service including a full clean and new sheets on my last day when I had arranged a 6pm checkout for an extra 30euros.
The downside was the breakfast. At 12euros plus tax one would at least expect some hot dishes not least as it's a 4 star hotel. Whereas the standard scrambled eggs and bacon were on offer on Saturday, there were no eggs or cooked food of any description available on the Sunday or Monday. This was possibly as the hotel was so quiet but then one would expect the staff to offer something cooked to order instead of a 'no, sorry' when I asked about the hot food. The coffee at breakfast was also appalling tasting as if it had been made for 3 or 4 hours (it probably had). Breakfast timings are excellent from 8-12 weekends and 7-11 weekdays but breakfast staff are indifferent.
Weekend rates are ridiculously cheap for the quality of the hotel at 56 euros plus tax for the room. If only they could do something about the breakfast.
