In spring, from May through to November, the climate of the Bahamas is governed by warm, moist tropical air streams travelling north through the Caribbean Sea. In midsummer, temperatures average 23 to 32 degrees Celsius (73.4 – 89.6 Fahrenheit) with humidity of 60 to 100%. In winter months, from December to April, the climate is affected by the movement of cold polar masses from North America. Temperatures during winter range from 16 to 25 degrees Celsius (60.8 – 77 Fahrenheit).
